Welcome to Frankfurt! This mod is my effort to make the best of Frankfurt International Airport. It only works with the payware Aerosoft scenery of Frankfurt which in my opinion is the best und most up to date rendition of this airport. This is work in progress so expect updates. I kept things light for a start because the Aerosoft scenery is heavy performancewise. However performance got much better on my system with the latest version 1.1.1. Compared to other excellent works like Brussels airport, Frankfurt seems a little lifeless so I basically added people in the spotter locations as well as improved the fire station area near the northwest-runway. I also started minor improvements in the wider airport area. Also go and check the Berlin Airlift memorial.

Unfortunately Aerosoft put a bunch of trees on top of the main spotter area and it was impossible to remove them using the SDK so let's hope for an update by Aerosoft.

This Addon was not designed by Aerosoft nor is it affiliated with Aerosoft. It does not change any of the Aerosoft files.

It is compatible with MSFS 2020 and 2024 but you might not see a few objects in 2024. Still it should cause no issues.

Installation

Unzip the file into your community folder. You need the UK2000-library free from the marketplace as well as the Britain and France World Updates for minor objects. Add the dependencies below.

To see the aircraft at the Berlin Airlift memorial, you need the Microsoft DC-3 installed along with the DC-4 from this website. For the DC-3/C-47 you need the following livery as I tried to make things look as close as possible to the real thing:

C-47 White Rabbit

If the livery is not installed, the C-47 will not show up at all.

For some reason it cannot be added to the dependencies below.
