    2024-users, this was developed in 2020. I marked it compatible with 2024 since one user wrote me, he uses it in 24. Please contact me, if this is not the case for you or if you find issues. I'll be happy to work on them. Thank you!

    Scenery Update for Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport by AmSim. Tblisi, in some countries also known as Tiflis is the captial city of Georgia (former Sovjet Union). The scenery by Amsim depicts the airport rather beautifully but there is some detail missing as well as the cargo area that needs fixing because of a badly placed and untextured building.

     

    What you get in this package:

    • A corrected cargo area
    • Reworked fuel depot plus two more added
    • Car shelters with solar cells and more cars in front of the terminal
    • The military apron with static helicopters, aircraft, trucks, clutter and starting points for helicopters
    • Terraforming
    • Airports light poles with proper night lighting all over the place
    • Runway guard lights
    • Runway and taxiway signs
    • Added parking near terminal including fence
    • Added missing buildings in the airport perimeter like the VOR, checkerboard buildings, fuel depots
    • Removed static 747
    • Added conveyance area
    • etc. etc.

    Installation

    Unzip this file into your community folder. Most objects are Asobo default. Make sure you have all world updates installed.

    This fix works 'on top' of the AmSim scenery so you need to activate both at a time. This mod does not change any of the original AmSim files!

    The AmSim-scenery is available on the 2020 MSFS marketplace only.

    hello there! Amaizing addon, but i believe i found a little bug, i think a building is missing... Great work anyway!

    Hi and thank you for the rating and kind words! This brings us back to the starting point of this mod. 😀 Yes, I did remove a building there, because it was badly placed and had no textures. Please check, if you have all dependencies installed. I can check, what library my building is from when time permits, but if you have everything installed as given down below, you should be fine.

    Hi! Thanks for the update! Finally, the tower crane is gone. But get ready for a massive change at UGTB airport: the old 31R-13L runway will become a full-length main taxiway, the new terminal is being extended in both directions to span the entire length of the new apron, and the new apron is being expanded toward the old runway. Also, the exit at the old terminal building—the bridge from the second floor—needs to be removed.

    Wow! I'm afraid, that's beyond me. That's something that can't be done with a little fix in the SDK. You will need a new terminal building and a complete rebuild of the airport. Hope somebody will do it as decent payware without the shortcomings of the AmSim-scenery.

    Did you rename the folders? It's important, that my mod loads last, which is achieved by using e.g. a Z at the start of the folder name. The sim loads scenery in alphabetical order so you need to make sure, it loads last. If not it might not show up at all.

    So for everyone asking if its working in MSFS 2024, unfortunately not. Mabye its just my Sim and someothers have sucess but for me it was the normal Airport scenery by the Sim which is very ugly by the way... I really hope there will be an version for MSFS 2024 because the scenery looks amazing! Big Shoutout to the creator!!!

    i just downloaded this and paste the folder in the community folder but the airport doesnt change why ?

    Did you change the folder name? Make it start with a Z, so it loads after the AmSim scenery. That's the logic of loading sceneries in MSFS, so whenever you load a fix or anything 'on top', check, that the folder name starts later in the alphabet. Good luck!

    Can you do me a big favour and test it? In only have 2020. The AmSim scenery was only released for 2020 but from what I know, it also works in 2024. So should my addon then. At least I know that the assets I used, do work in 2024. Maybe except for the static Citations and KingAirs but I know a replacement for these. Can you just check it and tell me, if it works? I'd like to mark it as 2024 compatible then and maybe release a seperate 2024 version with working statics. I'm sure, the community would appreciate that. Thank you!
