Project MAX CT-114 Tutor is a detailed recreation of the iconic Canadian jet trainer, developed for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The project was created in celebration of the retirement of the Canadair CT-114 Tutor, preserving a piece of Canadian aviation history in a modern flight simulation environment.
The aircraft is being developed using historical references, technical documentation, cockpit references, and real-world operational information. Particular attention is being given to the aircraft’s distinctive cockpit, instrumentation, systems, and flight characteristics, with the goal of capturing what made the Tutor such a unique aircraft throughout its service life.
As the CT-114 Tutor reaches the end of its operational life, Project MAX aims to give the aircraft a new place in the virtual skies and allow a new generation of pilots and aviation enthusiasts to experience it.
