    Beschreibung

    Air France, the French Flag carrier, operated a number of A340-300s over the years to its wide international routes. South America, North America, and all over Africa. The A340-300 was an attempt to modernize the Air France fleet in the early 1990s and consolidate the fleet into a single make, the home grown Airbus. While this single make would never come completely (the 777 and 787 being a later pivotal part of Air France's fleet as the long haul and more efficient twins) the A340 remained a part of the fleet until the late 2010s as they were finally phased out in favor of the aforementioned 777, 787, and the new A350. 

    F-GLZH helped bridge that gap between efficient quads and long haul twins while ETOPS regulations were expanded. This livery represents it as an early iteration, using Air France's 1990s livery.

    Thank your for the livery. I used to travel with air france and the same plane from Douala in cameroon to Paris. That plane is iconic and famous.

    want to say thank you SO much for doing a classic air france for the a340, and you did a great job. if its not too much to ask, i would love to see the font be updated to the correct one. air france did a little "update" of their typeface near the late 90's/2000's to have the "AIR FRANCE" titles be a little longer, shorter, and darker blue. obviously not a big deal, but something i noticed and cant unsee. thanks again!

    Yes I will be issuing an update for this soon! I just got back from vacation so need to look into it. I'm guessing for their aircraft they squished it a bit more than I anticipated.

    I've run it through windows defender and there doesn't seem to be any flags. So I'm not sure what that is doing.

    I've just scanned the folders with Defender and I don't see that. That may just be a false flag?

    The new Air France livery comes with it. Unless one was added in the last 12hr, this one is from the 1990s and is a bit different.

    This one doesn't come with the aircraft.
    Different reg, and old livery = not the same.

    Looks good, thank you for working on this. I only have a few kind points of improvement to raise: the Air France fuselage titles are a bit too tall compared to IRL, and the Hippocape logo is missing from the engines.
