    Beschreibung

    I'm happy to present an enhancement pack for ORBX Innsbruck Airport (LOWI). The team made great job with this one, but there are still a few things that I could add to improve the scenery.

    NOTAM

    This enhancement pack does not change nor modify the original scenery in any way. It only adds a lot of stuff to make it even better.

    NOTAM #2

    This airport can be further enhanced by adding Christmas decorations available here

     

    Things added:

    - Airport illumination improved. ORBX actually made pretty good job with this one, so changes are minor

    - Hazard lights to airport's masts and antennae

    - Hazard lights to the city of Innsbruck as per recordings I reviewed

    - Parking area on eastern side of GA ramp as in reality

    - Bunnies! Bunnies are a cluster of strobe lights located close to river Inn designating direction to the airport in fog or low visibility conditions

    - Ground gate designating numbers

    A PLEA

    - If you see a problem, if something's not working, DO LET ME KNOW either in comments section of via private message. I can't fix the problem if I don't know about its existence

    - Follow the file. It's not for me, but for you. If the file is corrupt for some reason, or causes CTD, IT WILL be updated. If you don't follow the file, you will miss the updates and might be stuck with either incomplete or corrupt version.

     

    For those, who use drag and drop - drop into community folder together with airport files

    For those who use Addon Linker - have enhancement pack file active as well as the airport files

    ...very nice, congratulations... I'd like to ask you, do you know how to eliminate static planes? I've been investigating for a long time without ever finding a solution...

    With this particular scenery you won't be able to. The static 757 is bound to buildings , so by removing the 757 you'd spoil the whole scenery.
    Otherwise via dev mode and exclusion rectangle.

    Thank you so much for creating this wonderful enhancement! The approach lighting into runway 26 is fantastic, it's something OrbX left out and it always really bugged me as those are kind of important! I also love the lights you added to the hydro towers and the hydro lines??? I can't remember red and white hydro pylons being there in the default OrbX version as they really stick out now like they should. Overall this is a fantastic addon for OrbX's Innsbruck, it's greatly appreciated and I can't wait to try out all your other airport enhancements.

    unfortunately i have a few issues:
    1) there are a lot of floating lights at and around the airport (see screenshots).
    2) rabbit lights are not working.
    3) missing hazard lights around the airport on the mountains (not sure if you modeled those).

    further possible improvement: use differnt hazard lights, the current ones appear as bright red balls, not quite realistic.

    i am running orbx lowi and the lowi-no-tree-fix

    White orbs are default MSFS road lights.
    Your screenshots are showing some of the hazard lights that are in the enhancement, but they looks very, very weird and NOT the way they should. Check your graphics settings.
    Missing bunnies and long distance hazard lights mean you're missing library. Please review the list of libraries needed for this enhancement to work fully :)

    hi, will this mod improve the bumpy and inclined taxiways A and B? IRL they are not as bumpy as in the ORBX LOWI version, and they are not inclined.

    Unfortunately not. I tried terraforming there and failed miserably. You'd have to contact ORBX and request correction.

    I'm not really sure how did I managed to miss that one. But at least I improved bunnies as well. That's quite important element there :)

    could you please add the shopping center "West" which is on short final towards rwy26. would it be also possible to flatten out the bumpy orbx taxiways A and B - taxiways are inclinged, but IRL its all flat.

    When it comes to enhanced illumination I'll check. When it comes to making z building as in real life, than it's beyond my capabilities. Sorry.
    Terraforming wise, I'll see what I can do. Terraforming in enhancemdnts is usually very tricky

    It all depends on coded time when the lights come on. Check if they light up when it's dark dark, like, saymidnight or so
