    The Original World Trade Center Complex "Twin Towers" - Image 1

    Beschreibung

    This is the original World Trade Center in New York City (1973–2001). Designed by Minoru YamasakiIt, the complex was constructed in the 60s/70s and stood as New York's tallest and one of the most iconic structures in the world. This mod also features improvements to the original model, base textures, and new PBR and emissive textures. The helipads on both towers are landable. The FPS impact should be minimal close-up and afar.

    Install: Extract the "arkid77-scenery-world-trade-center" folder into your Community folder.

    The detail on this is incredible - but also A LOT of polys, and doesn't seem to have LODs? Very heavy of frames, even on a high end rig.

    May all heroes and people who died on flight 11,175,77,and 93 who were innocent except the hijackers rest in peace the FDNY fighters risked themselves to go into the buildings and died the people on flight 93 attempted an overthrow but these people were brave and the emergency services suffered terrible losses so may all people who died rest in peace and may never be forgotten.

    Honestly probably a very cool way to fly in the sim pre 2001 with Concorde and some older jets, would make for some dope photos with the Towers in the background. Definitely gonna download!

    At night sure looks good! But the problem is that there seems to have too much lights to the towers. Could you make the lights a bit more separated? Not too much but just the right amount of lights removed. If you fixed this, thank you:)

    At first I was conflicted when I saw this mod, afraid it might be a gimmick of some sort. But once I saw how everything was so painstakingly recreated I realized this was a labor of love. Thank you.

    This add-on recreates the original World Trade Center complex as it appeared in 2001, including all seven buildings. It features enhanced 3D models and textures, with special emphasis on reflective surfaces and night lighting elements. Additionally, the South Tower includes a landable helipad, and the mod is designed to have minimal impact on frame rates. Note that some emissive textures and lighting are still under development.
