This is a scenery for the missing Television Mast in the Horwich / Bolton Area of the north West Of the UK.
It has been updated to include Rivington Pike, the local Gardens, the Pigeon Tower and Jubilee Tower at Darwen.
Please note if you have the Orbx GB Central scenery pack then download the following link instead to avoid duplicating Winter Hill Mast.
As always remove the previous version from the community folder before installing.

whats the difference between this one and the ORBX winter hill (your old mod) orbx compatiblity? is this one is for people without orbx? or an update to the old mod but with a new name? the confusion is real.

This is for people without the Orbx GB Central pack. The Orbx enhancement one is for people who have that pack as I have not got a way yet of removing their Winter Hill mast reliably yet which is included in Orbx GB Central pack but not well implemented.

Was this renamed FROM "winter-hill"? This didn't prompt an overwrite is all.

Hi This originally was just the winter hill scenery but I renamed it as it has expanded. I would recommend you down load this and remove the winhill folder in your community folder first before moving this in. I am working on a further update of this to bring it in line with the Orbx version in the next few days.

I see you have made further additions to these [Winter Hill and Horwich] excellent addon's.
The inclusion of towers atop local topography makes the identification of the various hills so much easier.
Might I suggest, as a future candidate for your efforts, Peel Tower, Holcombe Hill.

Do you know at all where I can pick up a VOR building and antenna for Pole Hill? It was possible to see it in FSX but I havent looked for it in MSFS. Great bit of work Winter hill is, Great for VFR from Blackpool to Barton, thats my short get your hours up hop.

I have not see any similar landmarks that had been generated so far, but its looks like an object that using sketch-up 2017 truss's from the libraries could be constructed.

I'm retiring soon, maybe I can get into the modelling and do a few things. I like the Winter Hill btw.

I see you have produced an Orbx version of this your splendid Winter Hill package. Sadly, I do not [nor do I intend to] use any Orbx products so I cannot enjoy the addition of your Rivington Pike feature.
I wonder then, do you have any plans to update this first version? And if so could you please include the aforementioned Pike.
