FS2024 Section

V1.1   30 Nov 24

• Stage 1 conversion to FS2024. Fixes missing buildings, corrects terrain and textures.
• Makes the airport work fine and look fine.
• Look out for further fixes and updates as I discover cool things in the new SDK.

V1.2   05 Dec 24

• Further minor fixes.

V1.3   20 Dec 24

• Replaced the popping control tower with one that won't pop. Replaced 2 other buildings doing the same. Known aggressive LOD issue that I have no faith in Microsoft correcting.
• Changed the terrain pathing references for the new terrain engine to read the surfaces correctly into FS2024.
• Moved a parking spot to make more room to taxi past it.
• Removed the hidden parking under the helipads left over from FS2020 version.

V1.4   30 Jan 25

• Final converstion update to FS2024
• Removed and replaced the last of the popping objects.
• Changed the Control tower again, this one is nicer. 
• Removed all rocks that might show up.
• Fixed artifacts and did some more texture work.

V1.5   04 Jul 25

• Fixed fake looking grass in a lot of areas that was not there before. Not sure how it all changed. I blame Asobo.
• Great, now I have to check every FS2024 airport I made :(
• Moved some parked cars near the tower and corrected the no parking zone there as well. 

V1.6   19 Nov 25

• Removed the windsock circles, one of them was floating. I swear the landscape changes every now and then.

V1.7   28 Dec 25

• FS2024 version update.
• Replaces/substitutes many missing objects caused by SU4. Too many to list.
• Fixes lighting issues also caused by updates in SU4.
• All of my scenery is now being checked for this total mess they caused us Dev's.
• Adds FS2024 Helicopter cold and dark parking.
• Adds taxiway exit lighting from the main runways.
• Some other minor fixes and additions.

FS2020 Section

Your sim must be up to date with all world updates installed. You do not need any photogrammetry installed,  just the base world updates as I borrow scenery from those resources. This project makes extensive use of the UK2000 Scenery Library which is free in the Marketplace. Please make sure you have it installed.

Welcome to Palmerston North Airport. The usual payware quality work, my last for about a month as I go on holiday for a while. Start your journey in your own personal GA hangar (GA_Small Parking 1) and enjoy yet another scenery addon for New Zealand.

Featuring the usual quality you have become accustomed to, high detail EVERYTHING and based on the latest aerial photography from 2023.

V 1.1.1  19/05/24

Added Parking 7 for the GSX profile. Just redownload as this is an unofficial update that does not affect the scenery.

V 1.2   23/05/24

• Removed some rogue objects I had left lying around. 
• Added more objects into your private hangar.
• Added yet more objects, drains, cars, cones and other clutter around the entire airflield.
• Completed the rental car area.

V 1.3  22/07/24

• This airport now contains a workaround for the MSFS Helipad bug that prevents cold and dark starts. I have placed a small parking spot under each of them numbered 100, 101 etc. These are not connected to the taxi paths and can be chosen as an alterative to their matching Helipad so as to achieve a cold and dark spawn.
• Mowed the MSFS grass textures down to 1/3rd of their stock length. Makes a massive difference especially for taxiing and Helipads.
• Removed some more ugly blotches I had missed.

V 1.4  06/09/24

• Corrected any taxisigns and placed them in the right position and orientation.
• Replaced the stock lines with my own custom ones. Now all ground markings and lines will be colour matched.
• Made some other minor corrections and additions. 
• This should be the last update before MSFS 2024.

Tip:
Don't forget to reload your Little Navmap scenery library now and then in order to keep your new airfields accurately portrayed within it. This way all your new taxiway designations are updated among other things.

LNM automatically searches through your community folder during the process which runs in the background so you can keep simming.

From the menu bar of LNM:  Scenery Library | Load Scenery Library | press Load. When finished, press Use Database.

Instructions:
Unzip and drop into your Community folder.
