    Fenix A319/A320/A321 | WINWING FCU / EFIS | MobiFlight Profile - Image 1

    Beschreibung

NOTE: MSFS 2024 is supported as of MobiFlight BETA 10.4.0.1 and there is no need to update this profile to make it work. Just opt into the Beta in Mobiflight Settings and you'll get an update upon starting. The profile will work out of the box.

NOTE: If you are having issues with using any of the included EFIS profiles, please do not report them here in the comments but join the MobiFlight discord and open a thread there. I can't provide ANY support with EFIS since I don't own them, but you can reach the people who do on the discord server. Thank you!

Note: Firmware updates could break compatibility any time, so before updating make sure the new firmware is already supported.
As of MobiFlight 10.4 the following firmware versions are tested/supported:
    FCU 1.09, 1.13 and 1.16
    EFIS L 0.97
    EFIS R 0.99

This is a set of MobiFlight profiles for the WINWING FCU and EFIS L/R to be working with the Fenixsim/Fenix A319/A320/A321 aircraft.

    Usage:

    • Download this profile and unzip the contained .mcc file somewhere permanent (choose the correct one based on the units you own)
    • Download MobiFlight version 10.4 or higher from the official https://www.mobiflight.com website
    • Install the software and run it
    • Then go to File -> Open and select the .mcc file you unzipped earlier
    • A dialog will show up to assign "orphaned serial" (see animated GIF at the top):
      • Select at the top the "orphaned serial"
      • Select in the dropdown below your WinWing FCU
      • Click "Assign", then "OK"
    • Press "Save" in the toolbar to avoid having to do the serial assignment again
    • Enable "Auto Run" in the toolbar at the top (turns on the light bulb) to make sure MobiFlight starts working as soon as MSFS is running
      • Alternatively manually press "Run" as soon as MSFS is running to start operation
    • Add MobiFlight to Windows Autostart or run it manually (can be started after MSFS is loaded too)
    • If you have multiple profiles for different aircraft:
      • Load into the Aircraft and select the correct Profile by using File -> Open and opening the correct .mcc
      • In the statusbar of MobiFlight click on the aircraft type/livery shown and select "Link current config"
      • Whenever you load into this livery/aircraft, the profile will be loaded automatically
      • Repeat this process for every aircraft AND livery since the link is set for each livery

    Important:

    • If you received your FCU/EFIS and did not yet check for Firmware updates, do so by installing the SimApp Pro and check the firmware there. Afterwards you can uninstall SimApp Pro or turn off AutoStart in it's settings to avoid conflicts.
    • Some knobs in the virtual cockpit are not moving because triggering the animation would cause a very laggy and unresponsive behavior, so for the time being there is no solution to visually turn the knobs in the cockpit. Button presses and Knob push/pull are animated though.

No, the FCU does not need Python, just MobiFlight. I literally tried to make installation instructions as easy as possible, just read them :)

Hi, is it normal when clicking (Example: FD or LS) lagging and waiting 5seconds to turn the light on?

Also: Do you have ECAM WW profile?

No it's not normal, should be instant - if you have issues with MobiFlight, better head over to the MF discord and post your question there. This profile can't do anything regarding performance, it only maps buttons and LEDs to simultator vars, there's nothing that would cause delays in it. And no, I don't own the ECAM hardware, so I can't add more functionality to this profile.

Nope, I don't own them. Comments of one addon are not the place to ask people about other work.

Thanks for sharing! SimAppPro is doodoo, and I like having the ability to get into the config myself to tweak things to preference (I'm having a compatibility issue with push-to-talk bindings in BeyondATC that I need to figure out how to work around). I'm very familiar with SimVars, but very unfamiliar with the mobiflight interface, so having a template to start with is a huge, huge help.

This is awesome thank you Copper as SimAppPro is preety crap. However I will soon get my winwing MCDU. Any suggestions on how to keep running FCU and EFIS off mobiflight while using SimAppPro as it will be need to run the MCDU?

No idea, since I don't own the MCDU or anything. You can join the mobiflight discord (see description), there are people working on the MobiFlight support for the PFP/MCDU products as well, maybe they can give you advice :) Oh and of course the thanks and love goes to the efforts on MobiFlight side to make all of this possible and also the people contributed by adding the EFIS support on this profile :)

Hello, I have a problem with the altitude selector of hundreds/thousands of feet of the Fenix A320 (I have not tested the Fenix A319/321): when I set the selector to thousands, it returns by itself to hundreds; if I start SimAppPro of Winwing, the selector remains (correctly) on thousands but continuously makes a small click as if it wanted to return to hundreds. If instead I set the selector on hundreds of feet on the FCU of Winwing, it remains in that position. Is it possible to fix it?

Also on Mobiflight I see 5 different warnings, all with the same reason: "Precondition is not satisfied". What are these errors due to?

I want to point out that I have installed the latest versions of all the software (FSUICP, Mobiflight, Winwing firmware).

This is a "bug" in MobiFlight that I reported but it didn't get attention.
Restart MobiFlight if that happens, because MF keeps "pressing" the button even if it is stopped. I have no solution to this. Also never run SimAppPro in parallell to MF, they will be in conflict. Usually I have seen this bug if running MF while the FCU is in the 100 increment, so setting it always back to 1000s before start helps avoiding it too.

Hi. With the EFIS the QNH value changes in steps of two. How can I change this? Could someone fix this?

Sounds like you have SimAppPro still running in the background.

Seriously? One, I can't influence the input delay. Two, giving the profile a 1 star rating just because of the input delay? Jeez, the community really needs folks like you... Thanks for nothing.

Thanks to Adiole and Otyq for finding and fixing a few issues, mainly affecting the Right EFIS (NAV1/NAV2 switches reversed direction, inHG value display). Please make sure SimAppPro is NOT running in the background when using MobiFlight! Report issues with EFIS to the MobiFlight discord instead of commenting since I can't assist with those.
