Here is my take on Aeroporto Albano Machado, Huambo, Angola. I have never visited Huambo in real-life, but stumbled upon the airport during my current A2A Comanche 250 round-the-world marathon. I checked Flightsim.to and nobody had improved upon the autogen scenery so I thought I'd give it a go. I was expecting it to be a quick project, but the main terminal buidling took an age to model as I was working from the limited photos / videos I could find on the Web. Anyway, there is still much to do, but hopefully it is now at a stage where it is of interest to others. Enjoy!

Aqui está a minha opinião sobre o Aeroporto Albano Machado, Huambo, Angola. Nunca visitei o Huambo na vida real, mas tropecei no aeroporto durante a minha atual maratona de volta ao mundo A2A Comanche 250. Eu verifiquei o Flightsim.to e ninguém melhorou o cenário do autogen, então pensei em tentar. Aproveitar!

Thank you for your comments and kind words.
I have never been to Huambo so I had to model the airport upon whatever images I could find on the Web (there aren't many). Do you have any images of the airport you can share?
Blender is my tool of choice for 3D modelling. I don't often make use of autogen buildings as they just don't look right to me.
Best regards,
Phil

Even though you don't know the airport, the work you did is very close to the real thing.
It has been one of the best mods used by the community and has had very good feedback.
Thank you very much.

A couple of minor tweaks: all parking spots of the 2024 version re-aligned to match apron markings (I had done this in the, but the SDK somehow managed to randomised the headings). I've also added a new MIL/CARGO spot (aligned with the main taxi path, parallel with the terminal). Thanks to TheAfricanFlyer for pointing out the misaligned spots.

A few years ago I've re-edited this airport, based on the Africa2Go scenery (at their request). But as you say, it was just using the Stock objects and autogen from MSFS.
I personally know this airport and I can say with some degree of certainty that your work is very good and close to the real thing. The best I've seen for MSFS.
I don't know if you used the season-based autogen, so I can vary it, as there could be a little more vegetation (it's a very rainy and green area), but either way looks very nice.
