    For homecockpit use, do you think it could be possible to remove the central column, while keeping wipers and rain effects on the windshield?

    I guess you can remove it. But it's a programming thing. Fenix ​​doesn't remove it because it's supposed to be visible. In real life, it's in that field of view.(you can try) If you open the file where the middle column is drawn, then deleting it and making that part transparent can be successful (GIMP 3.2.0-RC2) is a free program that can open files. I myself no longer use msfs2020 and msfs2024 files, they are in a slightly different format and require more work.

    Hello

    The file ‘WINDOW_DIRT_DECAL_ALBD.PNG.DDS’ is causing the MSFS 2024 to stop starting (it always remains at 97%). If I do not replace this file, the MSFS24 starts normally.

    Is this error known and do you have a solution?

    (The dirty windows bother me :) )

    Well, I'm not surprised. This mod is for MSFS2020 so it may not work for MSFS2024. The Fenix ​​model also has problems working for MSFS2024. (For example, external lights do not work at night as they should). The mod is so old that it may not work even with the latest v.5xx since there have been so many changes. But at least for now I am not testing/editing the mod (I am waiting for new versions of MSFS2024 and Fenix).

    Tried Vxxxx.313 and the files work. They must be installed again if you update Fenis320. If you have modifications in the community folder, update the files to the mod. (if they are there?)

    I haven't done anything to the windshield. Dirt is only visible when the light hits it from a certain angle. Not very realistic summer time 😎

    why not make it a drag and drop community folder addon instead of replacing the files directly?

    In short. One MOD is ok in DD way. Several MODs cause a conflict and some MODs do not work.So MODs should never be installed on DD. So a bit problematic for most users.
