    Beschreibung

    CSK8 King George Airpark in Surrey BC has been used as an ultralight training facility for many years, and has been decommissioned in 2019 to ultimately become a blueberry field.I have added some GA parking spots and static planes, hangars and night lighting.There are no custom buildings in this scenery, I only used buildings curently available in the SDK.

    Update 1.2 corrects the GA parking spots and adds windsocks.

    Installation instructions:
    Please delete the previous version and then unzip and copy "Airport CSK8 KingGeorge-v1.2" folder in your MSFS Community folder.

    Hello, I am not using MSFS any more and I have stopped all scenery development for this platform.

    really nice place! altho i flew in and the static aircraft seem to bounce a little or act weird with the terrain, could you take a look? THanks and great work!

    Thank you for your very nice words! Unfortunately there is not much that I can do about the bouncing static planes. I had to decide whether to have an empty airport or have static planes that bounce, and I thought it was more important to have some parked planes. I could create a version for you without static planes, but the airport would look very sad and empty.

    ye true, its ok then! :) i know its not something that you can control much, i think its more something with the SDK, but im not sure if exporting with every new updated version of the SDK fixes these, as it may or may not. Thanks anyways!

    I'll see if the new SDK has changed the way the static planes behave. If it did then I'll recompile the airport and let you know.

    Thank you very much!

    I just tried it out and it looks great. One small issue though, I tried all 4 parking spots and they all spawned me on the roof of the hangar structures. Still great to see it looking so much better than default!

    I have uploaded an update to the scenery and I hope the problem is fixed. I had to reduce the number of parking spots to only 2, I hope that won't be an issue.
