Latest V5.0 Update Some static models removed from "Red Arrows" East apron. Added parking for Red Arrows 1 thro to 9 (also 10) Updated other parking spots see description. ATC modified for Waddington approach. See Parking list for cold starts below.
Airfield Ground has been cleared & completely remade. All aprons runways, new texture & lines painted. All parking areas & taxi ways marked & located correctly. Scenery models added, Hawk & Hunter etc added. Nightime approach. Runway & approach lighting all operational.

Parking for Cold starts
East Ramp 1 through to 9 (+ 10) Parking (Mil Combat, Hawk Red 1 thro 9 (+ 10))

NE Ramp 20 Parking (Large GA)
SW Ramp 12 & 14 Parking ( GA Large & Military Cargo)
NW Ramp 16 & 17 Parking (Mil Combat)
W Ramp 15 (GA Medium)
Installation - After unzipping, place the complete "sac-airport-egxp-scampton" folder into your MSFS community folder.

Hi, i don't seem to have any hangars. I worked at Scampton on the Reds but don't see the reds dispersal or any hangars. What am i doing wrong? Thanks pal.

Nice work Scamptons looking great now.
I have one small problem though, the skid marks on the runway seem to be hovering above it and clipping into the cockpit of smaller GA planes.

Thanks, I will take a look. These were causing some visual flickering & slight height increase, solves the problem. However will adjust or remove. See next update when released. Now released V5.1

Nice to see little details like the fenced memorial to the dog who's name can no longer be spoken.
Some static Hawks would be nice. I have seen them in other addons but they are not usually in Red Arrows colours, and I don't know if repaints are possible.

Thanks. The static just flight model "like others", if you fly in one, the static models mimic the one your flying (although they remain on the ground) so smoke etc & may affect frame rates. That said the screen shots were taken with the above. Ideally a static model is needed + permission from creators to use. Maybe I should approach just flight to see if they could provide a useable static model.

my dreams are answered......Aeroplane Heaven making the Lancaster........what a combination this will be with Scampton....then we'll need some Spitfire drivers to fly alongside.

Its the pay Just Flight hawk in screen shots. I would need permission to add to scenery. Other option is to have 8 mates with JF Red Hawk. If someone produces a model to use it could be added.

fantastic to see Scampton in development. Great job and I look forward to updates in due course.....NOW....if only some good a/c developer could make a great Lancaster!

Great work. However, the hangars are not the same as in your screen shot. The ones in your screen shots look like real RAF hangars. Is there a way you can improve them? It will be highly appreciated. Keep up the good work and look forward to RAF Waddington. Additionally, please add some more parking spaces to accommodate military transport aircraft as I recall VC10 and Herc C130s regularly dropping in. Thanks

Its a Military airbase, all top secret, who knows what they get up too? A chinook flew over yesterday (In the real world), did they stop..... well who knows? In the past they've had a few russian Mig visiting for "Tea" , so I guess an F18 isnt that unusual lol. But this isnt quite the real world, some are on a different planet! Oh & you need eight friends with Hawks!
