    Beschreibung

    Small Private Strip near Hokitika on the West Coast (NZKQ) and three surrounding small private strips close by to practice STOL landings. Also tidied up parts of the Scenery up the Arahura Valley and Hokitika Gorge.

    Originally created for MSFS2020 but redone for 2024 and still a work in progress. I'll keep working on it as I have time but decided to share with the community anyway.

    hi CookieMonsta i down loaded this file and its not working well where the Airport i see only the windsock the hanger is not there i see can you please try it Agian please to make it better on MSFS 2020 cheers

    Hay Dylan, I don't have 2020 installed anymore so can't test but it uses the same scenery libraries as listed in dependancies, and was originally created in 2020 and the hangar and fences etc are all the same, the only difference should be terrain mesh as 2024 mesh is much more detailed. Sorry but if everything is missing all I can suggest is make sure the libraries are in your community folder.

    Thanks for your contribution to the community, it really means a lot.
    What a nightmare about the .xml file! Hope you get it sorted, it would be a pity to not keep this great addition updated.

    unfortunately no! It's my own fault for not backing it up, hopefully future sim updates won't break it. I'll take a break for a while but add another project to use in conjunction with this one that fix's more of the rivers etc. Just went for a fly to each of the strips in the xcub and it seems to be working well!

    I'm unable to spawn on the parking spots without the plane crashing sideways. BSKQ Caravan.

    I think I managed to get the Kodiak to spawn but the field is really to small for them, the tail is probably hitting the hangar. I'll move the parking spots forward a little when I next update it. The biggest thing to land there IRL is a Cessna 180D (ZK-BZP).

    Thank you for the quik answer CookieMonsta. To find AG strips I used NZ Topo Maps, and this place is not listed as an airstrip. NZ topo Map is probably not updated, in fact I have find other existing airstrips that are missed and other listed that, from what I see in Google Map seems abandoned. Will you do even the other strips in that area? Thanks. I would also start making airports, I have collected so much data (I live in Switzerland!) but now it is time to learn using Blender....

    It's not an AG Strip just a private strip created to access the cabins as there is no road access.

    I didn't do it with this update (v0.6) but will add the Whites Road AG Strip in a future update (I plan to add scenery continuously to this area)

    Thank you for this add on; as a fan of NZ airports and AG strips I add the coordinates of this three airstrips, otherwise it will be impossible for other simmers to find them. Copy this coordinates on Google Maps or Bingmap (better visible) and you will see them.

    Perfect, but the second one is wrong, check the second pic, the Kokatahi Hide out one is at the confluence of Hokitika and Kokatahi Rivers. 42°49'48.3"S 171°00'12.2"E
