This is a set of lightweight edits to the base scenery as well as a growing set of custom model additions to improve VFR flying around Dundee and Tayside in the UK.

The following custom models are included, all with PBR materials, points of interest (where appropriate), and optimised LOD modelling:

• The Law Hill War Memorial* and Utility Building with Paco Graff artwork
• The Friarton Bridge
• Kinnoull Hill Tower
• Buddon Ness (High) lighthouse, complete with rotating radar dish
• Buddon Ness (Low) lighthouse
• Cottages and shed near Buddon lighthouses
• The Black Watch Monument
• Menzieshill Water Tower
• The Tay Road Bridge Obelisk
• Chimney stack at Ninewells Hospital

*The Law Hill War Memorial will light up at night, and also have its beacon lit for significant occasions (Sep 25th, Oct 24th, Nov 11th, and Remembrance Sunday).

Plus:

• Added picnic tables, benches, and cars around the Law
• Added a better sim-model transmitter mast on the Law
• Removed autogen houses and cottages from the allotments around the Law
• Tidied up the roundabout hosting the Obelisk
• Cleaned up and improved scenery around the Friarton Bridge
• Removed hundreds of autogen houses and cottages posing as poly-tunnels in many surrounding fields
• Modeled the solar farm at Bullionfield, near Invergowrie
• Added proper grass to Slessor Gardens
• Added the 100m climate mast at Balruddery Farm
• Fixed the sizes of the wind turbines at the Innovation Parc (old Michelin Factory)
• Added the chimney stacks near the Innovation Parc
• Fixed the water masks and sunken ships around the port
• Removed a building blocking both lanes of the A90
• Removed a tree growing in the water in City Quay
• Reinstated the sunken footbridge in City Quay (near the Unicorn)
• Added the small wind turbine (albeit three bladed rather than two) near Ninewells Hospital
• Fixed the Dighty Burn water overflowing the road in multiple locations

This add-on is fully compatible with ORBX and UK2000 EGPN (Dundee Airport) and ORBX EU Great Britain North, all of which also improve Dundee and add a lot of POIs.

Developed and tested on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 only.

Installation instructions:

To install, simply extract the contents of the downloaded zip file (a folder called "imilne-dundee-vfr-enhancements") into your community folder when the sim is not running. To update, remove any old copies of this folder first, then extract the new download.
