    Beschreibung

    This add-on improves the default Asobo/Inibuilds Airbus A330 family in MSFS 2024, focusing on the areas that most affect the flying experience -aircraft feel, behavior during key phases of flight, engine acoustics, and the overall perception of a large widebody Airbus.

    The goal of this mod is not to turn the A330 into a completely different aircraft, but to refine the default version so that it feels smoother, more natural, and closer to how the real A330 behaves - from taxi to touchdown.

    Main improvements

    • Calmer and more natural liftoff behavior, with a more realistic rotation feel
    • Smoother and less nervous flare during landing, with more natural hold-off
    • Improved overall feel during takeoff, approach, and landing
    • More natural taxi and rollout behavior, with a better sense of aircraft mass
    • Realistic idle thrust on straight taxiways and speed loss in tight turns
    • Smoother roll response with less overshoot after wings level
    • More natural-looking wing flex suited to the A330's aluminium wing
    • Softer and less aggressive exterior lights at night as seen from the cockpit
    • Corrected pilot eyepoint for a more natural cockpit view
    • A more polished and enjoyable overall experience with the default A330

    How it differs from the default version

    Compared to the stock aircraft, this mod provides:

    • Calmer and more predictable rotation behavior
    • A less nervous flare and more natural landing sequence
    • Improved feel during takeoff, approach, and landing
    • More refined taxi handling and post-touchdown behavior
    • Better sense of inertia and mass expected from a widebody Airbus
    • More realistic engine idle and thrust behaviour on the ground
    • Subtler night lighting without an overly harsh effect from the cockpit view
    • An overall more polished and pleasant aircraft character across all supported variants

    Requirements

    • Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
    • Default Airbus A330 (Asobo/Inibuilds) — included with the simulator

    Installation

    1. Unzip the downloaded archive and place the GGAirWorks_A330_Enhancement folder into your Community folder: ...\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\Packages\Community\
    2. Restart the simulator completely.
    3. Select any supported A330-200 or A330-300 variant (RR or GE).

    Note: Do not install alongside other A330 flight model override mods.

    can you fix the variable reverse as well
    we cannot perform idle reverse landings on the default

    SU6 is now out and fixes the APU burn issue and some other minor issues. Hopefully we can get some updates to this model fix as well.

    Hi, thank you for uploading such a valuable source configs for inibuilds a330.

    As a fellow A330 modder myself (in older simulator, Aerosoft's A330 for P3D) I can use this info to improve my flight model, and perhaps, also improving this mod alongside mine. (since msfs and p3d base flight model aren't really different)

    One of things I can provide are better N1 vs. N2 table, Corrected FF table (responsible for spooling characteristics, which is a must do for Trent 700 engines) and a manual for A330 PW41xx variant. (Which can be found on the internet though).

    After enabling your mod it's not possible to switch frequencies anymore. Hope you can fix it. Furthermore the manifest shows Version 1.1.1

    I can also confirm that dropping the layout.json file into MSFS Layout Generator does fix this and allow it to be active. The difference in handling is noticeable again. Flies so much better.

    I meant like the cockpit view is supposed to be positioned a bit back like in the pictures that the creator provided

    Guys. We fix that with MSFS Layout Generator. Drop to the exe layout and restart your sim. Thx fo blazer2410.
