LatinVFR has announced the Airbus A380-800 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and the reveal came completely out of nowhere. Without any prior teasing or community hints, a full official trailer landed on the AviationLads YouTube channel, showcasing the world's largest passenger airliner in what appears to be a well-developed state.
The trailer itself covers a good amount of ground. You get exterior walkarounds showing ground equipment details like chocks, engine covers, and pitot tube protectors, followed by cockpit shots featuring a custom EFB and FMS. A selection of liveries including Emirates, Qantas, Qatar Airways, and ANA make appearances, and brief interior glimpses show off the cabin and the iconic twin-deck staircase. Engine sounds, hydraulic audio, and visual effects round out what is a polished first look.
No release date or pricing has been confirmed yet, but based on LatinVFR's usual approach, expect an initial launch through the in-sim Marketplace before wider availability. In the meantime, the trailer is well worth a watch — you can check it out below.
