Blue Bird Simulations hat auf ihrer Facebook-Seite ein Vorschaufilmchen veröffentlicht, in dem sie interessante Funktionen ihrer kommenden Boeing 757-Version für den Microsoft Flight Simulator vorstellen. Das Video wurde von Ehviator erstellt, einem 757-Piloten aus dem echten Leben, der auch technischer Berater bei Blue Bird Simulations ist. In dem Video geht Ehviator auf einige interessante Merkmale der 757 ein, die alle in der kommenden Version enthalten sein werden. Das Video beginnt mit Ehviator, der das Engagement und die Hingabe von Blue Bird Simulations bekräftigt, die Boeing 757 in den Microsoft Flight Simulator zu bringen.

Ein Fokus auf die Rolls Royce RB211 Triebwerke der Boeing 757 ist dann gegeben. Zu sehen sind auch die Fanschaufeln und der Spinner der Nachbildung. Das Video wechselt dann zum vorderen Fahrwerksteil des Flugzeugs. Schließlich geht Ehviator auf das P62-Panel ein, ein Panel, das von den Ingenieuren verwendet wird, um die APU zu löschen und abzuschalten, wenn ein Feuer ausbricht.

Synaptic Simulations Previews A220 Cockpit

Der Airbus A220 ist eine Flugzeugfamilie, die ursprünglich und bis zum 10. Juli 2018 als Bombardier CSeries vom kanadischen Flugzeughersteller Bombardier Aerospace entwickelt und gebaut wurde. Airbus hat im Oktober 2017 eine Mehrheitsbeteiligung an dem Programm erworben. Synaptic Simulations hat vor kurzem eine Vorschau auf ihre kommende Airbus A220 Freeware veröffentlicht. Die auf Twitter geteilte Vorschau zeigt den Gashebelquadranten, während sie auch das Navigationsdisplay und einen Teil des Pilotensitzes enthält. Wenn man bedenkt, dass es sich um Freeware handelt, ist der Detailgrad bemerkenswert.

Ein kleiner Blick auf die neue, verbesserte, endgültige Version des A22X-Cockpits.

Wir wissen leider noch nicht, wann eine Veröffentlichung geplant ist. Vielleicht gibt es in dem angekündigten Livestream mehr Informationen. Im Moment scheint ein Release noch in weiter Ferne zu liegen.

I hope both aircraft are amazing, however I don't have lots of expectations with de A220 taking into account that is a freeware add-on

that makes no sense to think like that this day in age. FBW A32NX and Zibo 737 easily two of the best A/C ever produced off freeware. These open sourced projects like the A220 should be met with the same expectations as any payware product because they have yet to disappoint us. FWIW i have more expectations in the A220 than I do payware MD11 from TFDI

Yeah. FBW in MSFS and what else? Especially that FBW started on Asobo's already existing plane and A220 is made from scratch. I realize you're excited but these freeware products usually do disappoint us, because they barely even made it to the light of day. Fingers crossed but I will re-evalute only once it being released.

what else? How about almost everything on this website. Freeware 767 in development that cant possibly be worse than captain sim. The CJ4 mod, sure there are plenty of freeware products that turn out to be all hype and never get released but lets not act like payware doesnt do the same thing. how about all the payware "early access" that keeps getting produced and never actually reaches potential. There was supposed to be a Payware A220 for P3D and it just never got released even after showing a full blown model and cockpit. So my point being just because something is payware doesnt suddenly mean your expectations should be higher because freeware can be great in its own right. Its not 2003 anymore. Just because something is payware doesnt mean its going to be good and it certainly doesn't mean its going to be released.

And as far as me having more expectations in the A220 than the MD11 it makes sense because I thought the 717 was a disaster upon release. I think PACX is poorly done and overall as a customer I am just not satisfied with anything Ive ever got from TFDI. How is smartcars a "Payware" acars worse and lacks depth compared to a freeware one done by some Virtual Airlines?

CJ4 was awesome but yet again, built upon already existing Asobo's aircraft. And I thought we are talking airliners, as those are much harder to make. Look, I don't want to be Debbie Downer but there is simply so few high fidelity airliners in the land of Captain Sims, expecting freeware to match them is simply too much to ask for. But then again, maybe this one will work, who knows. But we will see it when we will see it.

I have to agree with @maczeta here and be a little cautious about our expectations. I am not saying getting a good freeware AIRLINER is not possible. But the fact is that they are very few and far between. The only few examples that I know of are Zibo mod, FBW A32NX and may be the working title CJ4 mod (not an airliner and now backed by Microsoft, so not really a community freeware anymore), GotFriends and other freeware planes are very good, but they are not airliners and nowhere near as complex. And all of these are made by modifying the stock aircrafts. That will change soon when FBW releases their A380X. The headwind A330 is a good model but the systems are FBW. So not really from scratch and does not reflect the real a330 neo. And even the mighty FBW team is taking their time to get all A320 normal operations completely nailed down and they are very transparent about their progress and one can check what's going on in the GitHub. But the other freeware airliner projects, we get very few updates once in a while and mostly they are about the systems like avionics, and they don't have public GitHub repositories that I know about. It just makes me tame my expectations a bit seeing this. I am not bashing the developers here as I understand that these are freeware, and they are not bound to deliver anything. Just cautious. There are a few freeware projects which I hope will see some output eventually like the A220, A350 by dfd, the DC10 project, which is a bit more regular with updates and the ouroboros jets project.

The 757 on the other hand looks really promising specially with regular video updates that the dev has been sharing. I may be wrong but that shows the developer is confident about its quality.

FBW and Zibo are nice planes, and this is it, nothing more than that. Do not exist study level aircraft that is freeware (am not including Inibuilds, since it's made by a studio paid by Microsoft), ill keep my expectations low.

What do you lose from it? It's free, you get to fly it, it has functional 3D cockpit with the A220 systems...Create your own aircraft if you aren't happy with some one elses work and stop complaining.

The FBW is the outlier here, but the Zibo is free because he legally can't charge for it, or it'd be against X-Plane ToS. He definitely accepts donations, though.
