In den offiziellen Foren von Microsoft Flight Simulator hat der Benutzer und Entwickler zkdos die Veröffentlichung seines neuen Addons, FSLTL genannt, angekündigt, das verspricht, die Art und Weise zu verändern, wie wir Live-Verkehr in unseren Simulatoren bisher kennen. FSLTL ist ein kostenloser, eigenständiger Echtzeit-Verkehrsinjektor für Microsoft Flight Simulator. Mit anderen Worten, FSLTL nimmt Informationen über den realen Verkehr auf und zeigt genaue Flugzeugmodelle an präzisen Positionen in Ihrer Nähe auf Ihrem Monitor an.

Mit dem Addon können Sie mühelos Flughäfen und Himmel in Ihrer Umgebung bevölkern ohne jegliche Auswirkungen auf die Performance. Darüber hinaus verfügen alle in FSLTL enthaltenen Flugzeuge über benutzerdefinierte Effekte wie Hitzedunst, Kontrails und Interaktionen mit Fluggastbrücken und Bodendiensten. Um die Immersion nicht zu zerstören, verfügt jedes Flugzeugmodell auch über eigene Sounds.

Auf diese Weise können Sie auch beim Fliegen mit VATSIM in den Genuss hochwertiger Flugzeugmodelle mit eigenen Effekten und Sounds kommen. 24 Gigabytes, sounds like all of them or darn close. I guess I'll disable any default. This could be huge in terms of immersion at big airports. Looks like compiling this app was an enormous task, can't believe it's free, Big Shoutout to ZKODS !!

Do understand that you lose every Civilian Aircraft from the game when you use this. They instruct you to turn off ground aircraft so if you fly into any airport that has anything other than large commercial airliners...it will be super empty

You can't have everything at this point.FSLTL offers:VATSIM model matching - a boon for the majority of hardcore FS usersReal time flight schedule for the AIVery simplified installation and easy to use (unlike AIG's confusing installers)
However, it lacks:AIG's comprehensive set of traffic models (including business jets and older cargo planes).AIG's specific model details and special liveries (FSLTL liveries are mostly generic)Simple traffic's performance-friendly executionYou lose GA traffic
The rest is nothing special really. Its traffic model, sound, effects are not any significant improvement over AIG since they use the same FSX-P3D optimised legacy AI model. They just have much less model varieties.
All in all, it sits in the "perfect" middle zone between AIG's hardcore obsessed traffic / plane spotting hobbyist or PSXseecon Traffic's detailed live traffic service, and Aerosoft's "Simple Traffic" that is as simple as the name suggests.
It still suffers from MSFS' limited AI traffic engine, which unable to: make the plane sit tight during holdshort (they will spun around - totally breaks immerssion), refuse the temptation of buzzing the tower when going around, assign parking gates correctly based on the airline / callsign code, and so on.

They have a VFR injecting function still in the works.Also I have yet to see any GA aircraft injected by default traffic so nothing to lose tbh.

Depends on where you live. If you live in "off areas" like Asia, Africa et al you will still see lots of liveries missing.
Still this is much, much better than Aerosoft simple traffic. They sometimes only support 1 (such as Taiwan) or 2 (such as Japan) airlines in some countries.

I have used this for several weeks now. I thought I saw business jets at KBNA. Maybe they are commuters. I don't know but I will take a good look now. I like the mod, but it is taxing on the system. That is for sure.

...ok so? I'm afraid I don't know what you're trying to say.the entire point of these similar addons is to reduce blank/generic mods, and how good that works is very dependent on the region you are in.

Fantastic addition, with air traffic and planes in their correct parking areas at airports. Of course, with the Fenix A320 it causes me problems on approaches to Tenerife North (GCXO) and Tenerife South (GCTS) and in Barcelona el Prat (LEBL) since the buildings literally disappear and the textures of the runways are blurred, perhaps Maybe it's because the fenix A320 uses the cpu instead of the graphics card (I have an nvidia GTX 1080 Ti 11 GB and 32 GB of Ram with a 6-core i7). Otherwise, great air traffic.

i dont use fsltl for model matching cuz it lacks things, i use AIG. witch is bigger in size but better.

Is it free like AIG? My AIG works extremely well in my sim even with the settings jacked up to 100

I've been using this for several weeks. It's been great so far. AIG has more models/paints available but it was a PITA to get setup and keep updated. This is one click install it was ridiculously easy.

Depends. If you keep your AIG traffic installed this program can use those models/liveries from the AIG folders. So if FSLTL doesnt have the livery, it can use the AIG one. So you should see less blank liveries. I made the mistake of uninstalling AIG.

Hello! is it possible to use another traffic model different than AIG? i have my own traffic folder with more than 6000 liveries. it is in the community folder.

It comes with its own models that are pretty performant in the new format. There's still a lot to add though.

Does not work very good at Sydney YSSY 34L ...planes land in the water...and at Brisbane YBBN19L the planes land into the ground not to be seen again..... I am hoping they keep working on the program as it looks really good..

I was just flying in Sydney and it is working correctly. Your sim might have terrain height issues.

It's free but unlike AIG, you don't have to download each airliner. FSTLT is better in terms of setup and the model is better. I also noticed that taxing is 10x better than AIG.

Unbelievable - such a brilliant tool and FREE! I fly up at 55K ft and at M2.02 most days - this superb tool really gives you the feel of height and speed - cruising past a steady stream feed of 787 and 767's down at 36K ft and nearly 800 mph faster - bloomin brilliant

And the sounds and effects are MUCH better than the AIG ones.

It is a conversion. You can just look at their website: they use FAIB, TFS, OSP, FSPXAI - they are acronyms that you should know what they stands for, unless you are new to the hobby. These are names from the community back then. The model, although developed for a sim 15 years ago, the quality is still far superior than Asobo's let alone Simple Traffic.FSLTL however is developing the native E190 (they don't have any Embrarer models for traffic now)
The sound & effects are just subjectively better - you can't get any more detailed than that with AI traffic.

Doesn't matter if it's a conversion or not. they are native gITF models. If you are not new to the hobby you know that old AIG .mdl models can cause many issues, that's why the FSLTL injector doesn't even inject them.

I honestly couldn't be happier with this mod, to the point if tomorrow they said, actually its $15 dollars now, I'd buy it instantly.It gives enough immersion and realism to be perfect for what I need. I don't have a clue what is the specific variant of a model each airline uses, and frankly I don't care to find out. Now I get the some odd fellows might be like ' eeeeooooo well actually Aeromexico operation a 737-700 epsfx7f variant on this route which has an addition blue line painted just above the captain side window and has a slightly different handle on the bathroom door, therefore showing a standard 737-700 is just not good enough', but to those people I say.....well...For me, if I land in Mexico and there are some airlines from the USA and the southern American nations, then I am happy.

Here is what you probably miss:There is a debate whether for AIG to continue conversion and stick to .mdl format.Quality remains the same, the only difference is just the format.What you get with gITF format: compatibility - that's it. It is a huge improvement over AIG's confusing process, the complex installation the "AIO installer" and permission bypassing, and then the injector. Plus the model matching - which is a huge plus.What you don't get: the plethora of repaints readily available for specific liveries (FSLTL team has to ask permission and conver them one-by-one, or completely redo the entire livery themselves). Some of the livery creators are probably dead, since some of the models are 20 years old already.That's why, I recommend them to people who don't really care when you don't see "Star Alliance or SkyTeam liveries" around or where to find "Delta Team USA planes" or why N****** plane is not A350 of new winglet variant, or "where is the A220 or E-jets" kind of folks. This community hosts quite a lot of crazy nitpicky people for people to be satisfied with just one catch-all solution that is still very far from finished.

Here we go again! Yet another Traffic Addon! Does it actually work? What's the quality like? How fiddly is it to install and operate? And, how big a hit to my all important frames will it cause? Sorry, but I've been too long in this game not to go straight into sceptic mode.However, once I had read through the claims of the devs and done a little research as to the experience of others, I decided that this much promised functionality was just too good to pass up.And so, here I am- three quarters of an hour or so later- at my 'local' airport [EGCC] frankly, gobsmacked watching it all go off. Finally the airport has come alive!Sure, there are one or two tiny niggles [really not worth going into here] but congratulations devs. And thank you. A splendid piece of software, and free! Keep this up and I shall have to make a place for you up with a certain M Albar.

The tool is really great but shows bugs that may be caused by MSFS. The biggest drawback has been the behaviour of traffic that can be observed while flying over the North Atlantic (not limited to NATs). Injected planes are turning suddenly 90° South from their original (and likely correct) course. When flying in the same direction they are deleted as in your settings but injected again and the same game repeats again and again. I'm using the API from flightplandatabase.com nontheless, even if it doesn't seem to happen when using direct routes.
Likely the same can be observed for other planes being far enough away from their destination as I saw a Wizzair Airbus flying East to West towards UK in Flightradar24, but came from South toward North in MSFS (same flight number, of course). This happened close to Hamburg (EDDH) having quite dense traffic around.
OPS, while writing this I saw a Boeing (EDDB-KJFK) turning North, from about 260° before to 340°. You can nicely observe this in Little NavMap.
However, the immersion around airports is unbeatable.

And I can confirm that GA injection already takes place as I recently saw a familiar C172 that can be usually rented flying around its home airport. I'd been quite baffled.

This is awesome! it really injects reality into the sim. However, need to add in the Emirates A380s to Dubai. It looks a bit funny with all those weird arse pink and purple knockoffs from the default AI traffic.

Hi looking for some help if anyone has come across the same. Was loving this until I updated to Traffic Injector 1.2.1. Then as soon as injection starts heavy stuttering whether cockpit view or external view. Even traffic stutter as they move along. FPS remaining steady at 44/45 so no idea what has happened to cause this and whether now caused by another mod in the community folder. Everything was fine until latest update and now have had to uninstall as can no longer work with this and cannot locate previous version to go back to where I was.
As an update I found the Mod in community which was causing the conflict and stuttering. It was the Worldwide E Jets. Once removed the stuttering when FSLTL was running was gone.

This addon did its thing once for a long time ago until I started having freezing simulator with not clear solution (I´ve tried everything I could, but the freezing issue is still there). Wich I could find someone having same issues to see if its possible to get to what it causes that.
