This Turbo Porter Realism Mod has been created by Got Gravel in close cooperation with 2 actively flying Turbo Porter pilots. Together we have gone to great lengths to provide the most realistic simulation of a Turbo Porter to date. Enjoy the experience! Note: this mod only includes realism improvements for the flight model, engine, propeller and cameras. It does not fix or attempt to fix any issues with cockpit interactions or behavior as this is Asobo's aircraft and much work still needs to be done. Also this mod does not cover the float and ski versions of the Asobo Porter. Flight Model - High fidelity flight model derived from original engineering data - Every aspect has been tuned and tested to match the expected behaviour by the 2 Porter test pilots Engine - Highly accurate simulation of the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-34 turboprop - All n1/n2 behaviour at ground and flight idle is as expected - Horse power performance custom setup to match expected altitude performance - Fuel consumption custom setup to match expected altitude performance - ITT tuned Propeller - Simulates the Hartzell 4 bladed 96", prevalent on current Turbo Porters - Employs SU8's Modern Propeller Physics for the most accurate simulation of a propeller currently possible within MSFS - Supports "Beta Descent Mode", a unique feature of the Porter allowing it to go for steep dives/descents without overspeeding - Accurate RT (Reverse Thrust) Cameras - Improved camera positions, angles and zoom levels (edited)
