I’ve developed a tool called SengTaDec — a physics-based Single Engine Taxi (SET) decision support made specifically for flight simulation.
It calculates:
• Exact fuel savings
• Detailed safety analysis (taxiway condition, engines warm-up/cool-down time, max N1 needed)
• Whether SET is recommended or not
I made this tool because I was tired of guessing whether doing single engine taxi was actually worth it or safe.
