    Beschreibung

    This aircraft uses the Asobo 747 cockpit and the FAIB 747-400 model. The technical characteristics and the textures have been modified according to the 747-400 ER model. 

    INSTALLATION

    1. Unzip the "B747-400 ER" folder. 

    2. Paste "asobo-aircraft-b747-400 ER" , "asobo-vcockpits-instruments-b747-4ER" and "workingtitle-instruments-b747-4ER" into the community folder.

    SET UP

    Go to the MSFS sound settings and move the engine sounds bar to approximately 10%.

    SIMBRIEF

    The 747-400 ER profile can be accessed using this link: SIMBRIEF 747-400 ER

    After saving the airframe, select the B744 aircraft type in the flight plan and search for "VH-OEE" in the variants. 

    THRUST SETTINGS 

    I recommend using CLB in the thrust limitation page because the engines are less powerful compared to the 747-8. In order to select the thrust setting take into account this information. If you select CLB2 and the aircraft needs more thrust, switch to CON mode. 

    LIVERIES

    The two liveries were created using repaints from ATCO.

    Beautiful Queen of the skies! There are obviously some inconsistencies with the true -400 due to it being based on the -8 (e.g. fuel flow). However, it's still very nice to fly and look at.

    when you click on download you have to wait until it says open file click on that and if you right-click on it there will be somewhere the option to extract all and then you will be directed somewhere click on that twice and then you will see 3 things inside you always have to check with every download you do that those 3 things are there because that's important then you are at that one folder where only 1 thing is copy that and send it to your community folder

    quick question! Are the ftsim+ sound mods compatible with this 747? I tried installing the 747 pw sound mod and it didn't seem to work so I just wanted to make sure. Thanks and also wonderful aircraft!

    Thanks for info. too bad doors not animated, but will fly it from time to time. 747-400 one of my favorites. Hope one comes to msfs. great work.

    The fuel capacity and weight. Using the 747 project I with the simbrief 7474 profile for some routes between Australia and North America (sydney/Dallas-Fort Worth) was impossible due to the aircraft range. The extended range version has approximately 20 tons more of fuel capacity and allowed Qantas to operate longer routes.

    Sydney-Dallas oh wow. I don't flight that long, I actually fly with unlimited fuel and outside the cockpit, but thank you so much for the detailed explanation. I understood clearly the reason. Thanks

    The animations of wing flex of the model don't work properly in msfs and I couldn't include them.
