    Beschreibung

    This addon fixes most of the time zones that is incorrect in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. Areas include:

    • Brazil (as of 1.4)
    • Newfoundland
    • Greenland (as of 1.9)

    • Madeira
    • Channel Islands
    • Bosnia (as of 1.15)
    • Croatia (as of 1.15)
    • Montenegro (as of 1.15)
    • Greece
    • Turkey (as of 1.3)
    • Iran (as of 1.13)
    • Myanmar (as of 1.6)
    • Thailand (as of 1.6)

    Just decompress, then drag and drop the "jyuraposa-timezonecorrection" folder to the community folder of the simulator of your choice. When updating this addon to the latest version, delete the addon from the community folder before installing the updated version.

    I'm not sure why, but this addon is causing ctd for me. I run a lot of mods but once i installed this mod i started experiencing ctd, maybe there's a conflict somewhere. But ill run without for now. I'm running 2020.

    Is there a mod that actually takes into consideration DST? So if it's still light at 8pm in the UK (despite the sim saying 9pm UTC) it'll remain light in the sim?

    Did not correct the time zone issue for Alberta Canada -7 UTC (Mountain Standard). MSFS 2020 shows for example: "4 :1 8 am (3:18 am UTC)".

    Hi,

    Can I ask which airports have the issue so I can investigate. For Calgary and Edmonton, the time zones correctly show UTC-7 on my end.

    MSFS 2020 -SU16

    Departure: KTRM Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport - Coachella Valley, Riverside County, California.

    Starting cold and dark on the ramp.

    When for example I set the time to 12:00 midday local (20:00 UTC) on the world map the sim will spawn to the airport at 21:00 local (05:00 UTC),

    Hello, I dont know if this has been fixed or if it is even fixable, I'm flying through New Zealand in MSFS2020, but the game shows the real-world time of December 4th, 16z instead of the local time which is December 5th, so the in-game time doesn’t reflect the one-day time difference in New Zealand.

    Hi,

    I am not sure what you mean. Based on my understanding, the sim primarily uses UTC time, so dates would be in UTC rather than local time (the local time doesn't show a date) for both MSFS 2020 and 2024.

    Very nice mod but unfortunately no change has happened since the switch to winter time. The simulator is still in daylight saving time, what should I do? Fly in Europe

    Hi,

    I investigated and it turns out Asobo in one of the updates changed what numbers are the days of the week, which contradicts what the SDK guide says. As a result, this is why European DST ends on October 29 on Wednesday when it's supposed to be October 26 on Sunday. I reached to Asobo about this
