This add-on brings a variety of fixes and enhancements to the Madison area, improving both accuracy and immersion when flying over the city.

Fixed Bridges & Crossings

• Dozens of street and highway crossings have been corrected so they no longer appear submerged, a major improvement near downtown where John Nolen Drive spans Monona Bay.
• Several railroad bridges have also been updated in the same way.
• The Beltline (US12/18) causeway/bridge has been brought back above the surface of the lake and now includes lighting, offering much more realistic visuals during flights over Madison (especially at night).
• Hundreds of docks along lakes Mendota and Monona have been uncovered and made visible.

Capitol Square Improvements

• Night lighting added to the Capitol dome and facades
• Removed messed up satellite trees from around the Capitol and replaced with 3D tree models
• Street lighting added around Capitol Square

New 3D Models & Landmarks

• WMTV and WISC television towers on the city’s southwest side.
• Satellite dishes and radome atop the UW-Madison Space Science and Engineering Center (SSEC).
• A Lake Mendota buoy (from SSEC data).
• Boathouse and lighthouse at Tenney Park, with a functioning flashing beacon.
• A communications tower added on top of City Hall.
• Construction cranes positioned along East Washington Avenue, the UW Campus, and University Boulevard.

Installation

1. Unzip the file.
2. Place the js-madison-wisconsin-bridges folder into your MSFS community folder.

Compatibility
