    Beschreibung

    This add-on features the classic "Delta Widget Dog Nose" from the 1970's, when the 727 was still fairly new. Delta Air Lines acquired the Boeing 727 in 1972 and they remained with the airline until 2003. This livery represents a "clean" airplane (as it was still fairly new at the time). I removed much of the dirt and wear. Cockpit textures have been cleaned up and modified to reflect the "Boeing Blue" that some 727's had. I also included cabin textures, which are a hybrid of the Western Airlines birds that Delta acquired in the 80's. Installation instructions are provided. Enjoy! - Jason Long

    PS - textures are only tested in MSFS 2024. they are not tested in MSFS 2020. In 2020, you may experience missing engine textures.

    When installed in MSFS 2024, it shows up separately from the "Boeing B727-200 - FSS" option. It shows up as "Boeing B727-200 - accentedpassiongtone"

    Hmmm....let me check the installation. Are you saying on the Aircraft Menu screen inside MSFS 2024 it shows up as this?

    Yes, it loads fine, but that is how it shows up in the menu. It's the aircraft.cfg, I think "ui_creator" or something similar to that. It needs to match the FSS aircraft.cfg entries in that respect.

    Its the engine albedos that are preventing it from showing up properly in 2020.

    Are you using MSFS 2020 or MSFS 2024?

    Also, this was only tested with the FSS 727 pax version 1.1.1 +FS24 patch, available on Contrail.

    Wherever you have MSFS 2024's community folder installed, its buried enough where that particular ,json file is exceeding the 260 character limit that is imposed by Windows. You'll have to go into Windows registry editor (if you don't mind taking the risk) and enable "LongPathsEnabled". However, I don't suggest messing with the registry unless you are absolutely sure you know what you are doing.

    so trying to figure out if there is somewhere special i need to install this at in 2024 cause i was getting error messages just trying to drop it in the community folder
