Winterthur is a city in the canton of Zurich in the north-east of Switzerland. With a population of more than 110'000 residents is it the 6th largest city of the country. The old plants in the city center change to space for cultur and residentials, and the industrie moved to the outskirts. It is a regional transport hub and the railway station is the 4th busiest one in switzerland. LSZH Zurich Airport is only 15km away and in the east of the city is the Flugplatz Hegmatten LSPH, a small grass airfield for glider.
