    Beschreibung

Middle Wallop Flying Station is a British Army airfield located near the Hampshire village of Middle Wallop. It is the Headquarters for the Army Air Corps, and the 1st Aviation Brigade Combat Team, and is also used for Army Air Corps training. The base hosts 2 (Training) Regiment AAC and 7 (Training) Regiment AAC under the umbrella of the Army Aviation Centre. 2 Regiment performs ground training; 7 Regiment trains aircrew on AAC aircraft after they complete basic training at RAF Shawbury.

The base is notable for having previously served as both a Royal Navy (as HMS Flycatcher) and a Royal Air Force (as RAF Middle Wallop) controlled airfield, as well as an Army one initially as Middle Wallop Airfield.

The inibuilds release of their Hunter (Apache) caught me by surprise, so this first release is not complete but its enough to get going, theres loads more buildings to be added, many thanks to DeadJen for her fabulious work of the ATC buildings and fire station. and Nat for the Apache model.

as i said much more to come check back for updates

Hi the mod isn't working at all I have it fully extracted in my community folder without there being another folder inside of itself and yet it doesn't load at all in the sim. This is on the 2020 version as well.

    Hi Nick
I cant seem to get this to work. I have done exactly the same as the other add on's, (unzipped then dropped that folder into Com Folder) no scenary showing up just the standard A but nothing showing up. I have a couple of your other ones and the all work great
Not sure where I am going wrong

    Hi Graham,
Just check it hasn't double foldered it in the community folder,
If you find the folder nickb-airport-egvp-middle-wallop.
look in there and the next thing you see should be a layout and manifest files, and four folders - ContentInfo, Scenarii, Scenery and SimObjects.
If you see just a folder nickb-airport-egvp-middle-wallop then its a level too deep. if not drop me a DM and we will get this sorted
    Regards
    Nick

I'm new to MSFS 2024 and This doesn't load for me. It's extracted into my Community folder but doesn't appear either in flight or in the "My Library" list.

    Cheers

if you look in your community folder you should see a folder called
    nickb-airport-egvp-middle-wallop.
If you look in that folder you should see Simobjects folder and a layout and manifest file, if you see a folder called nickb-airport-egvp-middle-wallop that is the folder you should have in your community folder, this would be the same for all mods if they are two folders deep they wont show

Hi Nickb007, Thanks for the quick reply, That's exactly where the folder and files extracted to. Then I read that "msfs24" doesn't like long file names (what?) so I moved the Community folder to the D Drive and told MSFS24, in the Library section, that's where the Community folder now is, The folder is there and the files are in that folder, still doesn't see them.

So I went back into MSFS24 and checked in "My Library" and the file path was correct, but I clicked on the "open" button and it took me to another Community folder in the one I had specified! exactly what you said shouldn't be there...? so for shits and giggles I copied your Wallop file into there and restarted MSFS24, once reloaded I went to the world map and zoomed in on Wallop and all your excellent work is there, including new Ramp start points Ramp Mil 5 is the one I have to use so I'm really impressed I can start-up and finish in the right place.
    Cheers, Lee

Absolutely love the opening compound gates! The main ramp does have a fence round it in real life, but just a small thing!

Installed this in 2024, had a good look round in the drone camera, couldn't see any reason not to keep it.

    Keep up the good work!
