I haven't seen this asked but I take it this mod only works if you bought the H125 directly from the cowansim website? The marketplace version doesn't have the installation folder shown in the readme.

Correct. Only community folder installation. It's not marketplace product compatible, at least in Msfs2024...and like any other mod.

After softening the collective sensitivity curve, it's now perfect. I also tried charging above the hover ceiling gross weight. I also stressed the vortex speeds. It's ok. Great work.

I solved the problem by reinstalling the H125. But I noticed that the ground effect is still missing, unfortunately, and I have to constantly adjust the collective. I'll try it in the absence of wind.

It doesn't seem to work on MSFS24. After pasting the files into the community folder, specifically the one for the Cowan H125, the helicopter doesn't appear among the planes. I also tried rebuilding layout.json using the MSFSLayoutgenerator, but nothing happened. Can you suggest a solution, or maybe the mod isn't compatible with 2024? The same thing happens with R22.

No idea on what can be your problem. Actually, you're the first person reporting this issue.
The mod is 100% 2024 compatible and it's specifically updated for that Sim version.
Maybe you have an uncommon folder structure and/or, maybe, another mods/addons interfering. Hard to say.
I understand you're also on Cowan's latest versions (as per User Guide) with original folder names, etc..

I really like the idea of this mod. However I am suffering an issue with Cowan Sim H125 in MSFS2024 that you might have come across in making this mod. I either have full forward cyclic and trim or full back cyclic and trim and can't control the Heli. I thought this mod might help, but alas no. I am adamant that it's something to do with the CowanSim physics, but am wondering if it's something you came across, and or know how to fix?

It's partially fixed for FFB hardware (as explained in the User Guide). Unfortunately, spring loaded hardware remains the same.
You should be using the FTR to avoid trim saturation, but I'm afraid that's a baseline product support issue and unrelated to my mod. Sorry

After using the Layout Generator this mod loads up. Only Problem is that the discrete axis inputs are messing with the normal individual rudder pedal axis (Left/Right) by making them stick to a position like a force rudder trim of sort, which makes it unplayable for me sadly. Is there a way to disable that behaviour? Could you perhaps add that feature to the .cfg and update the layout.json for other ppl while you are at it? Would come back and rate this 5/5 then.

    Best regards :)

I will look into the recently released v3.3, but no promises on new MSFS2020 native product support/updates. They most probably will need to wait to the native MSFS2024 versions

    The current H125 is:
    MSFS2020 NATIVE
    &
    MSFS2024 COMPATIBLE

when the 2024 Native be released, this mod will be revisited. Most likely, but not before

Should have added that im using MSFS24. Didnt even know about the new release before your reply, so the comment before was related to the 3.2 version. I will look into the updated version aswell.

Hi. I just downloaded the mod. I put all the files included into my community folder. However, when now loading the helicopter, there is nothing there. The entire model is gone.. any clues ?

First let me thank you for your great work on this mod! It is absolutely essential for anyone that wants maximum realism for the H-125.
Regarding the issues with rudder pedals not responding correctly, I am reposting here so that anyone can see:
It seems that you have to assign the "rudder axis" to your controller, instead of the "helicopter tail rotor axis" for this mod to work correctly. You could also have the controls mapped to both "rudder axis" and the "helicopter tail rotor axis", I haven't noticed any adverse effect with this setup.
If you only have your yaw control mapped to the sim's 'helicopter tail rotor' axis then the helicopter pedals are resetting to center position almost instantly, even if you continue to push your yaw control full left or right, causing the helicopter to yaw erratically.
Not sure why this happens though, maybe it's something that the dev of this mod should fix in a future update.

Thanks for the feedback and glad to know it finally worked for you :)

Yes, the rudder pedal input is used in this mod since the helicopter tail rotor pedal position is not available for this purpose (hopefully Asobo will fix this...). Until then, there's nothing else I can do.
