    Southwest Fleet Pack for the PMDG 737-800

    FEATURES

    • Handmade Accurate Southwest specific decals, stencils and logos

    INSTALLATION GUIDE (Please follow steps for the liveries to work)

       1. Download file

       2. Extract Zip file

       3. select and copy the "PMDG 737-800 Southwest Common" folder

       4. Paste the folder into "Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community\pmdg-aircraft-738-liveries\SimObjects\Airplanes"

       4. Update the layout.json located in "Community\pmdg-aircraft-738-liveries" by dragging it on "MSFSLayoutGenerator.exe" (i've provided it in the main zip folder, id reccomend pasting it to your desktop) 

       5. Open PMDG OC3 and navigate to your PMDG 737-800 installation

       6. click "import" and select the airframes you would like to install and click open. 

       7. Ready to fly! :)

    • If the ini fail to install, go to the "ini files" folder, select the Airframes, copy and paste into "Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\pmdg-aircraft-738\work\Aircraft"

    I had the same issue too! I fixed it by just putting the 'Southwest Common' folder into your 'pmdg-aircraft-738-liveries' folder that is inside of your community folder and import the liveries in OC3. (btw don't run any executables that the instructions tells you). :)

    I am absolute in love with this livery pack, but just one issue with this, you said you have to run an .exe file to make the liveries to be able to work. But you don't really have to run that, you can just paste the 'Southwest Common' folder into your 'pmdg-aircraft-738-liveries' folder inside of your community folder, and import the liveries in OC3. And it just works like that without having to run any executable.

    Thanks for the great work otherwise!

    Luv the liveries! Can you make a Southwest Colorado One for the 737-800 (N8690A) for MSFS2020? I know Jviation already did a Colorado One but his is for 2024 only and I have 2020

    Unfortunately im moving away from 2020. The only thing that will be supported for 2020 is the ifly 737 MAX 8 until that becomes fully 2024 compatible.

    ensure you unzip the package first, and install it as per the instructions listed in the description.

    Hi, I have a problem updating the layout.json. Basically, I have too many liveries in it, and if I try to upload it with MSFSLG, I get this message:

    "One or more file paths in the folder containing C:\Users\flashmac\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community\pmdg-aircraft-738-liveries\layout.json are 260 characters or greater in length. Please move this package to a directory with a shorter path."

    Any ideas? (Other than “delete the liveries” 😅)

    Hey, so PMDG released their new operations center and I just bought the 737-800 and am now wanting to install this package. I did all the instructions you listed, but the livery does not show up in the sim, even though they're all correctly installed in the community folder, as well as the ini -files in the 737-800 package. Do you know what I could've done wrong?

    Hello! Have you made sure the common file was installed first? These liveries will not work without it. Also have you did an uninstall/reinstall? I'm gonna look into OC3 soon as this is all new to me as well.
