Experience a detailed yet lightweight recreation of Shenyang Taoxian International Airport (ZYTX) with this free addon for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Designed with accuracy and performance in mind, this scenery delivers a realistic representation of one of northeastern China’s busiest airports using objects and buildings from the default simulator. The scenery has been completely rebuilt since the original FS2020 rendition, and harnesses the new features of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024's SDK.

• Completely accurate ground markings, taxiway lines, aprons.
• NEW - Custom Google Maps aerial imagery for the immediate airport surroundings, dated 2023.
• Many hand-placed default objects based on satellite imagery and reference images found online.
• Custom coded ILS for Runway 06/24, based on real life frequency/identifiers.

Copy the included folders 'mtscenerydesign-airport-zytx-shenyang' and 'mtscenerydesign-shenyang-aerial' into your MSFS Community Folder

• Parking stands don't have stop markings (Future Update)
• Taxi signage is not complete (Unable to find online reference for all signs)
• Draw distance of Jetway bridge means they disappear when far away (Custom model to come in future version)

As I do not live near the airport, there are certain aspects of the scenery that I am unable to find out via online research. If you work at the airport or if you can provide any reference imagery that can mean improvements in future versions, please contact me via DM.

Due to the very outdated satellite imagery in the base simulator, newer satellite imagery is included that was sourced from Google. As a result, the scenery is not to be used for commercial purpose, or sold/distributed outside of Flightsim.to, in-line with Google's terms and conditions. All objects used in the scenery are from default sources, and therefore have not been sourced from other sources than the SDK tools.
