    NOTE: The main download is for MSFS 2024, if you want the older version 1.13.0 for MSFS 2020 then download the alternative file.

    Bidford Gliding And Flying Club is located in the rural area of Bidford-on-Avon, Warwicksire.

    It is a small all grass field where it services mostly gliders and light aircraft.

    EGBI is not the official ICAO code of this airfield, this is just the ICAO code used by Asobo for this airfield. There is no official ICAO code for Bidford-on-Avon.

    This scenery is a work in progress to try and recreate it as accurately as possible.

    A massive thank you to Paul S. (pks1414 -> https://flightsim.to/profile/pks1414) for modelling all of the buildings and hangars and a bunch of other really cool custom models. These amazing models have really brought this airfield to life!

    Well done BGFC is getting closer and closer to how I remember it. I do have one suggestion to make and that is to move the launch point of the glider closer to the road on runway 24. When facing down the runway it is only the left hand side of 24 that is used in the main because the right side of the strip is very bumpy in r/l

    Amazing work, well done. A small suggestion would be to split off the 2020 from the 2024 version on the single download: so put each version to their own download so that the end user might be able to download the correct version for their sim, that is, without having to download the other version for the sim that they don't have or use (Many don't have or both 2020 and sims). Two separate downloads one download page/for is now possible on Flightsim.to.

    Hi this is a good representation of Bidford Gliding & Flying Club, a club that i was a member of some years ago. The Club house buildings are spot on including the BBQ.
    The grass on the strip is a bit long, Pete the guy who looked after 27/09 would not have been happy!
    I am running this in 2024 and there does seem to be way to many trees in the members caravan park.
    I cannot find a DG200 anywhere, so I'm flying a LS4 or LS18.

    This airstrip is a lot of fun, especially coming in from the east - there's a line of telegraph poles just before the airfield perimeter, so you have to make sure you hop over them before landing. I just managed to land a Grumman Goose here - no mean feat considering the short runway - you really have to manage your speed well coming in. Took me two tries - the first one I landed too late and had to add full power - just avoided clipping the trees on the way out. Second try worked like a charm.

    Just read this:

    "To developers, if you have an AirportServices file in your project to remove airport services. Remove it.

    SU8 make some changes and doesn't like this file anymore. Remove that airportservice asset group, make sure upon build it gets removed from your .layout file.

    If you don't anyone who downloads your scenery will get affected by 0 airport service from any airport.

    Is this still the case? It's a year later and this airport still has the AirportServices file. I just downloaded it today and had a lot of fun hopping the telegraph poles before landing, so it's a great airport - I'd hate to have to get rid of it.

    The AirportServices file in this build shouldn't cause any issues. I've tested it and it seems to work fine with other airports.

    Following the France BeNeLux world update (or maybe the hotfix shortly after), I noticed I was getting a crash to desktop flying out of EGBW. EGBW itself was not the cause the as far as I could tell, but EGBI may have been. Disabling EGBI in the add-on linker and all was good. Enabling it, and crash to desktop during the flight loading screen.

    Any ideas what I can do about this?

    Not sure what the issue is, I have both installed and they both work fine for me, no crashes to desktop.

    I could just sit on the bank and watch planes come in and out BUT MSFS Ai do not work well still one great add-on thanks it make a very old man happy.

    Hey, this is getting so realistic now. I had to look to see it was not a photograph. You even have hangars I can park up in for the night.

    You have to go in to your General settings and then to traffic and set ground traffic to 0. There isn't any way in the SDK that allows you to remove ground vehicles yet (without affecting the whole living world file) (that i know of)
