    Beschreibung

    Introduction

    Please enjoy my first creation to MSFS2020 and MSFS2024, Stavanger Universitetssykehus (University hospital) with the ICAO "ENSX". The helibase covers the south western region in Norway, and currently serves the H135.

    The helibase have two helipads: one on the trolley at ground level and another one on the roof of the building. Both are spawnable.

    Installation

    Drop the file named "nordscape-airport-ensx-stavanger-hospital" straight into the community folder.

    If you use the scenery with msfs2024, please also download the file "nordscape-ensx-msfs2024-fix" and drop into the community folder.

    Dependencies

    Please see the dependencies list below.

    Note 1 new in v1.1:  Mikea.at assets pack is no longer required, but recommended. Currently the pack only provides some detailing to the helibase.

    Note 2 new in v1.1: Windy things added as a recommended asset pack, but not needed.

    Known incompatibilities

    Currently not compatible with 3rd.party photogrammetry. Should you be able to adapt any photogrammetry scenery to my scenery pack, please feel free to do so.

    Closing notes

    Hi, i love this scenery! I was waitin for so long for this Hospital Helipad! Thank you!
    As a suggestion: You should consider lighting, such as red lights on the corners of the buildings and a highly visible white flashing light on the roof. This also makes VFR orientation easier!

    But still, great scenery. I'm looking forward to the next ones!

    Hello, and thanks for the comment.

    I am in the process of updating both ENKH and ENSX for msfs2024 and will update the lighting also. However, I am missing clear images of the lighting setup for the helipad, so I can only rely on what I have seen in reference images. If you have any which shows the lights during the night I would be glad to update accordingly.

    Great work! Are you planning on doing the new Drammen/Vestre Viken Hospital? I should be able to provide reference images as I live nearby, although as it is being built right now, you may be better of using the posted models and blueprints found online. I do not know which ICAO code it will receive yet, but it is planned to open during October 2025, most likely including the helipad.

    Certainly can. If the reference images and heightdata is good enough, which has been sufficient up until now I see no issue. It will take some time until I can start the project though, so the new hospital may be ready by that time.     Can you update this for MSFS 2024 please? Very good scenery! However, the autogen breaks through.

    Hello. I have not yet looked into msfs2024, and I will probably not be able to until it is more stable.
    -What needs to be adjusted for it to work with msfs2024?

    Is the autogen breaking through with the msfs2020 version, and in that case where?

    Hi! The sim works pretty nice now actually! The only problem is the default generated ENSX helipad breaking through, 2024 has generated all helipads/hospital pads in Norway atleast, so they go through eachother. Other than that it works!

    I am in the process of updating ENSX and ENKH to msfs2024. Hopefully done within this week 🤞.

    really loved this instantly! only thing i wondered about is how do u remove the MSFS2024 "original" helipad? :)

    Thank you for your feedback! I have not tried the scenery in FS2024 so I was unaware of such a thing. If it works the same as with FS2020 I believe it is an easy fix to remove the "vanilla" helipad, but I am not sure. I will look into it as soon as I have fs2024 up and running, but it might take a while.

    I have not tested it myself, but feedback are indicating that it works as it should.
