Burke County Airport (KBXG) is located in southeast Georgia, 30 miles south of Augusta. The airport has a 5000 ft long runway, with RNAV approaches available to both directions. KBXG is currently undergoing expansion that will transform the airport to accommodate larger and more aircraft, especially during the Masters Tournament. The initial release of this enhancement is based on the June 2023 imagery, which sees the completion of runway extension to 5000 ft, a parallel taxiway to both runway thresholds, and relocation of the taxiway in front of the main ramp. We expect to update this scenery as more information becomes available. You may find more information about the airport and its expansion plan on Georgia Department of Transportation and the Burke County Airport websites.
KBXG is only 9 miles north of Millen Airport (2J5), follow US highway 25 south, blink and you'll miss it!
