Works with MSFS Version (World Update 6, version 1.19.8).

Orlando Apopka Airport (X04), formerly known as Orlando Country, is a privately-owned, public-use airport. X04 features a 3987 X 60 foot lighted paved runway with Papi’s on the approach to runways 15 & 33.

To install, place the entire unzipped folder into your community folder. I hope you enjoy it.

(I updated the file, but this will be the last update, as something happened to the original package files, and I cannot edit this scenery)

It is possible that there will be visual artifacts from future updates to the sim that conflict with this, now an older version. Perhaps one day I will recreate this - when IRL work / family comes first.

Hey Timberleaf beautiful job with this airfield! Just like to mention that with latest patch some taxiway lights are misplaced in the center of the taxiway instead of the edges.

Hmm, flew there just today with this scenery, I didn't see it, but that doesn't mean it isn't incorrect, now. To fix it would require a complete remake from scratch. That just isn't an option right now. Thanks for your interest and kind words.

Alas, the star ratings are greyed out although the 15 minute post-download requirement has been met. I would give you 50 stars were that an option. The greater Orlando area is greatly enhanced by your scenery- most especially appreciated being the power plant, the Underhill bridge, the F-4 on a stick at KORL. And how could the "deluxe premium big-bucks" KMCO have no B-52? YOU made it happen. Thank you.
I certainly agree the KSFB & KORL could use your magic. I have a payware version of both, and both fall far short of being a good expenditure.
I would ask you to strongly consider adding at PayPal donation button to your sceneries. I would like the ability to materially recognize your hard work. Thank you for your efforts.

Thank you for your kind words. This is appreciated. I am saddened by my loss of the corrupted files with the X04 scenery. It is not where I wanted to leave it. But, it wasn't a total loss. And, there are people, such as yourself, that are enjoying the scenery. THAT makes me happy.

Thank you for your kind words, interest, and support. I am saddened tonight after days of work to update this scenery - the original files somehow got corrupted - I have NO idea how it happened (but Gaming Services updated and has created MSFS to have "changed", and in my case user settings is "forgotten"). I can't tell you how this made me feel. I tried for hours to get the files "cleaned up" and validate. BUT, I was able to upload my backup zipped package. Version 1.6 will be the last update, unfortunately.

Great job! I would say what needs work is Orlando Executive Airport and Orlando Sanford Airport. I say that because we all fly over or by it on takeoff and approach into Orlando International Airport. I'd like to see gate numbers at Orlando Sanford Airport. There doesn't seem to be gate numbers on the ground at Orlando International Airport but I'm trying to remember if there are gate numbers on the ground. There's some on the building. Just want it to look as realistic as possible. Please make Orlando International, Orlando Executive Airport, and Orlando Sanford Airport look as it should. We pilots love to have it look like in real life. I would say add Kissimmee Airport in that as well as I've seen pilots asking for that airport which is southwest of Orlando International. Those airports are the most recognizable in the Orlando area. I would say Orlando Executive especially because it's so visible on takeoff and landing. It will look great with the other scenery you've made so far. I know Orlando Sanford Airport needs work badly. It's used by Allegiant and people have been asking about it. There's just nothing there like it should be. At least it needs gate numbers. Holy smokes, I just flew to Orlando Sanford International Airport from XO4, Orlando Country, and there's not even a blasted terminal building there. There's gates but no terminal. Are you kidding me? LOL Yes, I would say Orlando Sanford International is in bad shape! No gate numbers and not even a terminal building! I'd say Orlando Sanford International Airport needs some much needed attention.

I am pleased you like it, and thank you for your interest. I agree with you about the various local airports needing "help" visually. Thank you for the requests; they will be considered. I won't tell you how long THIS airport took me. I had a lot of fun creating it, and the tedious details that may, or may not be seen discernably (but I know they are there). I didn't upload this version until I felt like it met some QA - that what I uploaded worked (I think). ;)

Thank you for your interest. I am sure any discerning person could SEE the differences, or the absence of something that IS at the IRL airport. I tried to keep it as IRL as I could with what tools I have available (and my current abilities and understanding), using the airport diagram.

I enjoyed creating this airport, not just for myself, but for those who DO fly in and out of this airport in the sim (and IRL).
