    This is a repaint package for the PMDG 737-800 in colours of Sun Country Airlines.

    Pictures were made with the MSFS 2024 version. MSFS 2020 cabin differs slightly in design.

    Installation via OC3

    To reduce file size I have added a 'livery' called 'Sun Country Commons'

    In MSFS 2020 it doesn't show up in the sim menu intentionally.

    In MSFS 2024 it shows up and can be used as N801SY

    1: Extract the *.zip file to a temporary location, ie desktop
    2: Run PMDG Operations Center 3. 
    3: Choose the 737-800, then Import.
    4: Choose the 'scx_commons.zip' folder and at least one of the registrations e.g. 'scx_n808sy.zip' and hit open.
    5. After installation was successful, start MSFS, choose the installed livery and enjoy!
    6: Leave the 'Sun Country Commons' installed as long as you use this pack, as shared textures are stored there needed for all liveries of this package.

    Thanks! I am currently only converting -800s, just to stay in the flow. The 900s are already compatible with 2024 without HDU, but still usable.

    In 2024 N801SY is included with the scx_commons, I can't hide this one as I did in 2020 so used it for one of the registrations. Saves a few MB as well.

    I just saw the update for this pack, so naturally I needed to download it. When looking over the change log, I saw that the retro livery had been added! When I saw this IRL, I thought it was wonderful and thought it would be great to have this, and now it's here! Can't thank you enough for that!

    Thanks for your feedback. I've tried hard to match the retro as good as possible, pretty low quality reference when it comes to find the original logo for it. But I think it looks really nice on the -800.

    Hello, I can't find it. I followed your instructions & can't find it in MSFS2024 & 2020 for SY 738 & 739. It's not showing up in my both flight simulators

    Thanks for MSFS 2024, but I installed them and I see purple checkered boards and blanks on parts of the livery. How can I fix this?

    Thank you so much for the entire SCX fleet! One minor tweak is the lettering on the 2016 design looks a little too big and bold. Should be a little thinner/smaller in my opinion. Other than that, these are absolutely perfect. Thanks again

    Thanks for your feedback. I see your point on the 2016 livery. Getting high quality logo from the past is already quite a task. There are no official sources, most are pretty much unusable due to low resolution. So there is always a bit of discrepency to the rl one. I might tweak it a bit though some point later.

    When I got this, I used the OC3. When I ran msfs, I couldn't find this livery. For my other liveries, I installed them with OC2. They showed when I ran msfs.

    I am not completely sure but I don't think you can use OC2 and OC3 at the same time. Both programs recognize liveries in a specific way. So it's quite reasonable the liveries aren't shown as your pmdg-liveries folder is still using the old terminology, OC3 can't handle that.

    FS24 update is coming, I've done over 100 individual airlines for the -800 (some of them larger fleet packs), so it obviously takes a bit to go through all of them.
