Kittyhawk Aerodrome is 'a hidden gem of an airport' (according to its website, and I'm not going to disagree), close to the English south coast. Nestled between the South Downs and Glyndebourne, it's perfectly located for either a scenic flight over the Downs or a night at the opera.

This airfield was left out of the base MSFS, and quite a large chunk of the runway was covered in trees, making things a little challenging. I've stripped back the rogue forestry, given the grass a mown, and added a bit of detail to the place (I've built a custom model for the main hangar; the other hangar and the farmhouse may have to wait a bit.)

A fair amount of trees near the runway means this can still be a challenging airfield (watch out for windshear on the approach to Rwy28!). Can't quite model the apparently sometimes damp/soft runways, so you'll have to imagine those for now.

I've also added a couple of landmarks for the circuit flying - to the north, on the approach to Rwy16, there Laughton Place Tower, a redbrick building. To the east, just south of the electricity pylons, is Darp Farm Helipad. (I've added a helipad start here too, just in case you'd like to.)
