    COMPATIBLE WITH ANY AIRCRAFT VERSION!

    PMDG's products are beautiful, replicating the real life aircraft in a quite good way.

    But in a few cases, products like their 737s and now the 777-300ER are partially ruined because of the bad performance of their passenger cabins!

    THIS MOD AIMS TO FIXES THAT!

    This mod removes only the cabin seats, keeping the cabin walls and galleys! You'll still have passenger window views!

    This mod does not reduce the whole LOD of the aircraf, only the cabin seats!

     

    INSTALLATION:

    IMPORTANT! MAKE A BACKUP OF THE ORIGINAL .XML FILE BEFORE INSTALLING THIS MOD!

    1. Download the mod.

    2. Go to your PMDG 777-300ER installation folder.

    3. Go to "\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 777-300ER\model.300ER"

    4. Drop the .xml file from the .RAR and drop it inside of the folder.

    5. When requested to replace any already existing files, click YES.

    That's it!

    Is there one for the 777F or is this one compatible for it?

    The 777F works a bit different. This mod cannot be used for the 777F

    Not sure... This mod is for the 777 for MSFS 2020. The marketplace version may have somethings different in it.

    Hello Poep! I have tried to make a mod for the MSFS 2024 version but sadly the files are very different. Although it's the same plane, the files are structured completely different.

    I'm currently using the Marketplace version of the PMDG 777-300ER, and I followed your installation instructions correctly.
    However, when I placed the .xml file into the model.300ER folder, there was no “replace” prompt — it just copied over without asking.
    After checking the folder, I noticed that my Marketplace version doesn’t have any .xml file inside, only .bin and .gltf files.
    So I wanted to ask — does your mod work with the Marketplace version, or is it only compatible with the PMDG website version?
    Thank you! Your mod looks great and I’d love to use it to improve performance.

    Hello Dennis, thanks for the rating! This is the first time i'm hearing this, i think everyone who used this mod up to this point were running the PMDG's website version. We could work it out, maybe the files are structured differently in the marketplace version. Could you send screenshots of the aircraft's folder? There should be at least some .xml controlling the LODs somewhere.

    Sadly no. MSFS 2024 has a whole different LOD system, it's nothing like the MSFS 2020 version.

    Thanks for the rating! I've tried some things with the 737-800 but the LOD organization in the PMDG 737 doesn't allow changes to a specific area, so if i want to simplify the cabin i would have to downgrade the whole aircraft LOD.

    The 200ER modification was successful, but the 300ER directory purchased on the Marketplace did not have this file, and it did not work.

    This add-on offers a performance fix for the PMDG 777-200ER by removing cabin seats while retaining the walls and galleys. Passengers still have window views, as the overall Level of Detail (LOD) of the aircraft remains unchanged.
