El Aeropuerto General José Francisco Bermúdez (IATA: CUP, OACI: SVCP), es un pequeño aeropuerto Venezolano ubicado en la ciudad de Carúpano,Estado Sucre . Cuenta con más de 70 años de historia aeronáutica. Es uy conocido por la dificultad que presenta en los aterrizajes debido al casi permanente viento cruzado en la zona.

Cuenta con un terminal de pasajeros y servicio de bomberos aeronauticos. Este aeropuerto no cuenta con balizje de la pista, asi que esta limitado a operaciones VFR diurnas. tampoco cuenta con servicio de combustible. 

Este escenario es una mejora del Aeropuerto de Carúpano que viene por defecto con el simulador. Fue realizado con asstets del propio simulador y algunos tomados de la biblioteca de sketchup (antenas).

Incluye:

- Terminal de Pasajeros

- Rampa y taxiways

- Terraformacion de la playa en final de la pista 17 y "meseta del aeropuerto"

- Cuartel bomberos aeronauticos

- Iluminacion Nocturna del terminal

- Vegetacion montañas circundantes.

INSTALACION:

Para instalar descomprima el archivo descargado, extraiga el directorio principal del escenario ("venesimmer-airport-svcp-carupano") y colóquelo en la carpeta Community.

DEPENDENCIAS:

Se utilizo un paquete de librerias para el diseño de este escenario y que son necesarias para la correcta visulaizacion del mismo. Agradezco a sus repectivos creadores por su excelente trabajo.

The General José Francisco Bermúdez Airport (IATA: CUP, ICAO: SVCP) is a small Venezuelan airport located in the city of Carúpano, Sucre State. It has over 70 years of aviation history. It is well known for the difficulty of landings due to the almost constant crosswinds in the area.

It has a passenger terminal and aeronautical fire service. This airport does not have a runway lighting system, so it is limited to daytime VFR operations. It also does not have fuel service.

This scenario is an enhancement of the Carúpano Airport that comes by default with the simulator. It was created with assets from the simulator itself and some taken from the SketchUp library (antennas).

It includes:

- Passenger Terminal

- Ramp and taxiways

- Beach terraforming at the end of runway 17 and the "airport plateau"

- Aeronautical fire station

- Night lighting of the terminal

- Vegetation in surrounding mountains

INSTALLATION:

To install, unzip the downloaded file, extract the main directory of the scenario ("venesimmer-airport-svcp-carupano"), and place it in the Community folder.

DEPENDENCIES:

A library package was used for the design of this scenario, which is necessary for its correct visualization. I thank the respective creators for their excellent work.
