This is a modification to the MSFS 2020 default Asobo TBM 930 aircraft and is primarily aimed at improving the aircraft flight model to make its overall performance more closely match the actual aircraft, providing a much closer experience to flying the real aircraft. Multiple changes have been made to the flight model and engine parameters which are detailed in the Change Log. This mod does not add any new features or functionality to the original default aircraft.
This mod is easily installed by simply unzipping the download file and copying the mge-asobo-aircraft-tbm930 folder to the MSFS Community folder. It will then replace the existing default Asobo TBM 930 aircraft in the MSFS aircraft selection screen, and will also continue to utilize all of the existing available Liveries. To uninstall the mod and return to using the MSFS default aircraft, simply remove it from the Community folder.

Compatible with existing liveries, this mod is easily removable to revert back to the default aircraft.

Version 1.4.0 ⦁ The default Pilot/Copilot Viewpoints have been moved slightly forward and up to more closely match the actual aircraft viewpoints. This improves PFD/MFD readability and forward and side external visibility. ⦁ The Prop Min/Max Pitch parameters have been retweaked to match the actual aircraft prop specs. This provides more realistic RPM during final approach and landing. ⦁ The Max Reverse Throttle setting has been reduced back to the original default value to reduce the max reverse RPM. ⦁ The Toe Brake Scaler has been decreased to improve braking smoothness. ⦁ The Default Rear Baggage Payload has been increased 100 lbs. to improve the default weight and balance. ⦁ The flight model Wing Position and Empty Weight CG have been retweaked to provide more realistic weight and balance. ⦁ The Landing Gear Contact Points have been retweaked to more closely match the default +2° ground pitch attitude of the actual aircraft, as specified in the POH checklist. This slightly UP default ground pitch attitude can also be seen in actual aircraft panel photos. ⦁ The Wing Dihedral angle has been decreased slightly to include the effects of the horizontal stabilizer anhedral angle. ⦁ The Vertical Stabilizer and Rudder geometry have been tweaked to more closely match the actual aircraft. ⦁ The Rudder Deflection and Effectiveness parameters have been retweaked to improve rudder authority during crosswind takeoff and landing. ⦁ The Default Elevator Trim for a Runway start has been set to 0 (neutral). It must now be manually set for takeoff. ⦁ The Aileron Up/Down Drag parameters have been tweaked to include the additional spoileron drag. This improves the Yaw Damper performance. ⦁ The Cruise Lift Scaler has been decreased slightly to improve the pitch attitude during cruise and final approach. ⦁ The Flap Induced Drag has been increased to improve takeoff and landing speed stability. ⦁ The Wing Flex Scaler parameters have been decreased to reduce flight model wing flex and more closely match the actual aircraft performance. ⦁ The P-Factor Yaw Scaler has been reduced back the original default value of 1. ⦁ The Flaps Lift and Drag parameters have been retweaked to improve the final approach pitch attitude and landing performance.
