    I finally managed to update this on 2/3/25 to comply with a few slight flight model changes PMDG as made across the 737 Fleet as of version 3.0.112

    I've gathered several changes to improve steering from the avsim forum, turns should now be smoother and easier. I also added a new value I found in the forums, that allows you to turn the nosewheel while your not moving as the real aircraft is able to do this as well. A reminder that, pilots typically avoid exceeding a groundspeed of 5 knots during turns greater than 80-90 degrees. Installation is simple as dragging the folder to your community folder, no need to make any changes or replace files. Also as a bonus I increased the MLGW and ZFW of the 737-900 according to United Airlines configurations. MLGW increased by 2,000 lbs from 138,300 to 140,300. And MZFW increased by 1,000 lbs from 146,300 to 147,300.

    Hi!
    I'm stopping by to ask if there are any updates regarding this mod for MSFS 2024.

    I've read your comment, but after many flights I've noticed some issues. At low speeds, especially below 5 knots, the nose gear tends to skid, which significantly reduces its turning capability. This becomes even more noticeable on rainy days or when taxiing on wet surfaces, where the nose wheel can slip even at speeds as low as 3 knots.

    With the steering mod, this did not happen, as the nose gear maintained much better grip with the ground during taxi operations.

    I hope there is a possibility of adapting or developing this mod for MSFS 2024. Thank you very much for your work and dedication.

    MSFS 2024 already has improved flight dynamics and ground handling, which directly address most of what this mod adjusts. I do not currently have plans to port this to 2024, and that may or may not change.
    Also worth noting, real-world pilots generally avoid exceeding about 5 knots groundspeed during tight turns. Many steering issues people report come from taxiing too fast for tight turns. If you are struggling with nosewheel control, you may also need to adjust your steering axis sensitivities. Proper sensitivity setup makes a significant difference.

    I will probably need to update it a bit, looks like PMDG has changed a few values in the flight_model.cfg. I have been trying to get settled into new house please allow some time, for me to go through the changes and verify if it's compatible and if anything needs to be changed.

    I will look into it but so far it taxis way better then the 737 by default to me. Remember the 777 is a larger aircraft and your sitting well in front of the nosegear compared to the 737, and requires oversteer and turns MUST be done under 15 kts, while sharper turns of 30 degrees or more must be 10 kts or under
