    Beschreibung

    Castillon de la laquette is one of the steepest strips in the Pyrenees and in the world. there is not much there but the view makes up for it sparseness. Landing does require some skill and a lot of rollout power to get to the top of the hill, some smaller aircraft will get stuck, unable to reach the tops if they come to a halt.
    You can fly out of my other strip in the area LFSQ Aleu, it's about 52nm, E-W either way. Your choice!

    The Europe World Update changed terrain, so the new version  should work with it. Trog seems to be doing exclusions on strips. So hopefully this one will be added as well.

    I had fun finding this one in Alpha and have been there many times since. I even considered correcting the default one a bit until I saw you were working on it, so thanks for that!

    Watched many of Jojo's flights into Barèges, (the steep one), especially when they didn't quite get up the hill enough!

    There's a strip on the opposite side and up the valley a little too (you can see it marked on OpenMaps)

    Yeah, you must keep the power going for smaller planes. I've seen some friends get stuck 3/4 to the top. SHe's a steep one!

    Thanks a lot, interesting location! Just a remark , the "runway" is declared as asphalt. Can you add a parking at the runway top?

    Yes there is not much but to have it labeled on the map, and ensure correct elevation is already a big plus!
