AZUL REVEALS FIRST IMAGES OF THE THEME AIRCRAFT INSPIRED BY GOOFY. Azul released the first images of the new plane from the ‘Most Magical Fleet in the World’, inspired by the magic of Disney theme parks in Florida. The aircraft will join the other four themed planes in the Fleet, inspired by Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck. The A320neo, with the prefix PR-YSR, underwent a meticulous painting and customization process at the Airbus factory in Toulouse, France, to capture the essence of the Character. Goofy, also known by his English name, made his first appearance in 1932, standing out for his special charisma. Somewhat clumsy and very funny, he was the first classic character to have his own feature film, ‘A Goofy Movie’, from 1995. With a fun design full of personality, the newest aircraft in the Fleet brings well-known characteristics of Goofy, such as his ears. The launch is expected to arrive in Brazil later this semester. ‘The addition of this plane to our fleet is something very special for us, from Azul,’ says Daniel Bicudo, Director of Marketing and Business at Azul. ‘This collaboration continues to unite the experience of flying with Azul to Disney magic. Customers are delighted when they discover they will travel on one of the planes inspired by the characters,’ he concludes.
