    This package includes the following

     

     

    1. Bournemouth Pier - Our famous pier in all it’s colours

    2. Boscombe Pier -  completes our beautiful beachline

    3. Vitality Stadium - home to the AFC Bournemouth located in Boscombe

    4. The Albany Apartments building - It’s standing iconic between the two piers on the cliff. The Red Arrows also fly always over Albany when they come from Bournemouth Airport EGHH

    1. Avalon building - Right next to Bournemouth station in Lansdowne

    2. Christchurch priory Church - One of the oldest in the UK near the quay in Christchurch

    3. BIC Bournemouth International Centre - right next to the beach near the Bournemouth pier

    4. Royal Bournemouth Hospital - Spot the blue roofs from above

    5. Bournemouth Aviation Museum - Right next to Bournemouth Airport EGHH

    6. Bh2 Odeon and Halo - Just up the lower gardens is this fairly new centre with the Halo Church right next to it

    7. Unisys - This iconic building complex is right in Lansdowne near the Avalon

    8. Tower Park Splashdown - Can you spot the slides?

    9. The Hilton Hotel - Right next to the BH2 where the super stars are staying

    10. Barclay's building - Close to Poole town centre. Where your money lies!

    11. Bournemouth Station - in Lansdowne near the Avalon building - Where will the train take you?

    12. ASDA and Bournemouth Coach Station - Right next to Bournemouth Station in Lansdowne

    13. Castlepoint shopping centre - Near Littledown and the Royal Bournemouth Hospital - It's massive!

    14. Dolphin Shopping Centre - Near Poole town centre next to the Barclays building - Where Poole shops!

    15. Highcliffe Castle - This beautiful castle is just west of Christchurch overlooking the cliffs

    16. Poole Harbour - The entire harbour aerial in 3D in the sim! It's huge!

    17. Sandbanks Ferry & Terminal - At the end of Sandbanks. I also added a few boats and ships

    18. Cruise Ships at Bournemouth. Since lockdown we have some cruise ships anchoring in front of Bournemouth

    19. Premier Inn Lansdowne - This fairly new building complex at Lansdowne Plaza near Unisys

    20. The London House and Chocolate Box - In the heart of Lansdowne, this scenery includes the london house, the chocolate box and the small houses along the holdenhurst road as well as the old fire station.

    21. The Round House - At the Lansdowne roundabout next to the London house is easy to spot from the air and leads you directly to the beach

     

    Installation:

    If you have installed any previous scenery from me, please delete the old one from your MSFS community folder first!

    You can see that each landmark has its own folder. Simply copy all of those folders into your MSFS community folder.

    That’s it. If you don’t like a particular landmark, simply delete the folder which contains it from your community folder.

    Not sure if the dev is still active on this project, but would love to see Boscombe Pier brought back. Along with a general refresh to increase performance/optimisation :)

    I've done so many flights around Bournemouth and Poole with your scenery and love seeing my home town in even greater detail in the sim, thanks for your hard work! Shame about Boscombe pier not showing any more but seems to be a limitation caused by the UK WU? Also would be great to see the water tower at the top of Tower Park included one day as its such a landmark in Poole.

    Giving folders overly simple generic names like "dolphin", "hilton", "albany", "splash", etc can easily coincide with those of other add-ons, who in turn used overly simple folder names, thus creating a conflict problem. It also makes it almost impossible to identify which addon the folders belong to, and even more difficult to track down problems such as identifying duplicate objects when they occur. Also, every folder contains a non-uniquely named library "\global\scenery\modelLib.BGL" which will conflict with each other because they have identical filename and folder structure. This is why some people are finding that some objects don't show up.

    Thanks for offering this to the community, it must have taken a lot of work.

    Like others I find Boscombe pier doesn't work anymore.

    Also, the colours in the other landmarks are highly saturated and have the blue google tint that doesn't really blend in with the surrounding MSFS buildings unfortunately.

    Thanks for sharing Kevin. Having done a few piers for the UK I am aware of the amount of work that goes into making this type of scenery. Good job mate.

    Boscombe pier no longer appeared after UK Update. Bournemouth pier looks great.

    All looks great, except for the Boscombe Pier, which does not appear. All I see is the default MSFS "sinking" pier

    Hi, copy each folder on its own or simply drop the entire BCP landmarks folder into the community folder?

    Looks good. Thanks you. This is my home area and enjoy pleasure flights over the area from EGHH and back again. Hoping someone can sort Hengistbury Head, (pine trees?) Christchurch (no Priory or Quay) Mudeford and Haven Inn. I have not visited Bournemouth itself for years and there have been so many new buildings.

    But I have a problem with the Studland/Shell Bay Ferry appearing as a tanker! Any ideas?

    I just installed this and noticed the same - Sandbanks ferry is an oil tanker. Other than that though, super impressed with this pack.
