This is a modification to Belfast International Airport (Aldergrove), EGAA.
I am not an expert in 3D modelling, so don't expect a fully blown add-on here with lots of eye candy. However, as far as functionality is concerned this is a complete re-work. No more grass taxiways!
I am hoping that one day there will be a fully developed EGAA, but I hope this improves things for now.
The main features of this modified airport include:
1. This is a starred airport with working ILS that will be auto-tuned by onboard computer when selecting ILS25 or ILS17 approaches.
2. The vegetation that blocked some of the approach lighting has been removed.
3. Parking is more in line with the real airfield parking stands- both for the main apron and the small GA aprons. Main apron has some markings added.
4. Gate 22 now has functioning jetway.
5. Taxiway signs added.
6. Added a stock SDK control tower.
7. Apron lighting added.
8. Correct taxiway network with lighting.

Installation is just an unzipping and placing the unzipped folder in the communities folder. There is an installation text file in the zip.

Feels incomplete with it almost entirely lacking parking at the JHC Aldergrove Mil aprons and no helipads at PSNI's hangar. Only really use EGAA for military so can't comment on the civilian area - but that's my main issue.

Top work. Great modelling, only subtle changes required, but its very nearly real-world, and I love it! Every one of my flights, be it GA or commercial start usin this scenery. Thanks a lot for it!
Any chance the Woodgate Aviation hangar can be modelled in the next update?! Woodgate provide the fixed wing Air Ambulance BE20's on behalf of the health board for NI, so would be great if it could be recognised! (Plus, it's my base so would love it to be in the sim!)

The ILS doesn't work for me. I end up too low and crashing into a field before the airport boundary?

Can you advise which runway this is happening on, 17 or 25 and also whether or not you have navigraph installed?

I checked both 17 and 25 in the meantime with and without navigraph installed. I didn't see this issue. ILS 17 glide slope does put you directly on the threshold for 17 but the ILS is not rated CAT III for autoland anyway and has a decision height for manual flying of 200 feet (Altitude 406 feet).
A further thought, have you checked the in game contents manager to see if there are updates avalable for the UK world update. I believe that may contain elevation data that may affect things somewhat, in case your airfield is at a different altitude to mine.

Does this still work? I've put the file in my community folder but I definitely still have default scenery when I load in. Did sim update 5 break this download?

It still works for me. I use it very regularly.
Just checking that the folder you are adding to community folder is called "tamalien-airport-egaa-aldergrove". I am asking in case you inadvertently unzipped the file and copied "egaa-aldergrove" into the community folder, instead of the subfolder within the zip.

Hey, did you remove the fire engine from the pic? And the roof looks different. But I think I have some sort of scenery now other than default so I'm happy with that. I had the right file you mentioned so not sure what was up with that. Cheers for the reply!
