    This is a repaint for the TFDi Design MD-11 in colours of Delta Airlines - Atlanta Olympia 1996 - N812DE

    Installation via Drag and Drop:

    1: Extract the *.zip file to a temporary location, ie desktop
    2: Insert the folder 'tfdidesign-md11-dal-olympics-n812de' into your community folder
    3: Start MSFS, choose the installed livery and enjoy!

    I am receiving a "Path too long" error when I attempt to extract or move the livery into the community folder. Google says to rename the affected files, but I am afraid if I do that it will corrupt the livery. Any ideas?

    There are several ways you could get around it. First increase the character limit. There are guides how to do that. It is a bit annoying a company puts such a limit into an operating system AND develops a sim with the community folder hidden so deep, it's likely to hit that limit. Second you could shift your whole community folder to a shorter directory. Basically most creators here try to follow naming conventions of the devs they are providing liveries for, so file names might be a bit longer for one dev and shorter for another, thus it might be a good idea to shift the community completely somewhere else. Third you CAN rename the folder, but ONLY the 'tfdidesign-md11-dal-olympics-n812de' e.g. to 'dal-oly-n812de' or whatever you like. Just don't change anything inside the folder as that's actually breaking the livery.

    Love your work, as always! Just one nit pick on the cabin... I'm not certain when Delta and other major American carriers phased out the MD-11 for passenger service, but its been a while. Still its conceivable the last examples had headrest flat screen infotainment systems . This livery didn't have the same kind of longevity. I would imagine it was only used a few years prior (and maybe a year to 18 months after) the 1996 Olympics. During this era, its pretty doubtful planes would have screens in all three classes. A good example of inflight entertainment of the time is memorialized in the very first Mission Impossible movie ( Agents received their secret missions via in seat entertainment at the very beginning and end of the movie). Screens were super tiny and limited to only the most expensive seats. Please forgive my nerdiness for being compelled to point out such a silly detail. Your Delta work is among my favorite and most used liveries. 😇

    Thanks a lot. The TfDi MD-11 got some larger cabin screen on the walls and smaller screen on the backside of the economy seats. I can't change it existence. The screens included are fictional obviously, I just didn't want to leave them blank.
