    TrueShade: A realistic ReShade preset - Image 1

    Hi all, I just wanted to share the ReShade preset I've been using for the last two years, even though there are numerous other ReShade presets available on this platform. TrueShade is a ReShade preset used with Nvidia Freestyle to create a more realistic atmosphere. Since everyone's monitor is different, you may need to adjust color settings such as 'clarity' or 'hdr toning' under 'details' to achieve similar lighting to the photos shown above. 

    V2 Changes: 

    • Added "DepthHaze.fx" to add a blueish hue to the sky and blur out faraway objects. This will make the atmosphere look more true to life while still keeping the cockpit and close objects crisp and clear. 
    • New Nvidia Freestyle settings

    *Enable experimental features in GeForce Experience to utilize Nvidia freestyle*

    Very nice preset. Sadly its bs. When i run it, it instantly crashes MSFS. Useless.

    The .ini file can be placed anywhere you like. You have to navigate to the file location in ReShade and double-click the file to use the preset.

    I really like it, although it looks way more "bloomy" on my system. :) looking forward to further versions.
    (the first of your images looks incredibly realistic, wow!)

    If you want to reduce the bloom, try adjusting the 'bloom_intensity' setting for the shader titled 'magic bloom'. That shader allows the bloom and exposure to increase at night time, but sometimes it could be too bloomy for certain monitors during the daytime.
