    New GSX profile created with good help from Saurer01. (Thanks for the help mate...)

    Updated to the latest AIRAC 22-JAN-2026

    Now you can download the GSX profile as an option.

    **** Version 2.0.1 is now compatible with  MSFS2024!****

    This is my creation of the airport of ENTC Tromsø Langnes situated in northern Norway. 

    The city of Tromsø is often referred to the "Paris of the North" and is located over 400 km north of the Arctic Circle.

    På This scenery uses custom designed 3D models for most of the buildings on the airport using custom made PBR materials.

    Runway lights should be as per AIP.

    Please checkout my ENRM scenery on ORBX: ENRM - ORBX

    Installation:

    Unzip the main file to your Community folder.

    For the GSX file, unzip the ini file and the two .py files to your GSX ini file location

    Please remove older versions of the scenery if you have downloaded an updated version.

     

    Recommended add-ons to be used with this scenery:   (not needed but adds some more features to the scenery)

    GSX: https://www.fsdreamteam.com/products_gsxpro.html  Payware addon that is highly recommended for this scenery. The docking systems seen in the screenshots from this scenery is from GSX.

     

    Roadmap:

    - Add hospital at Tromsø

    A lot of work has been put into this scenery, so any donations will be highly appreciated.

    I really like this scenery. Solidly made and works perfectly in MSFS2024. The quality smells and feels like a payware scenery. Keep up the good work Mr. Togstad.

    Thank you very much, but it seems I have to redo the entire terminal building. The measurements are all off. It was made purely by eyesight. But I realise that is probably going to take too much time for a freeware project. But I'm not going to make it payware either. (There is a new payware version on it's way by a solid developer that I think will be awesome!)

    The payware scenery makes the terminal too small, so small that my character is bumping her head on the signs hanging down from the ceiling despite clipping through the floor. But this scenery has the opposite problem -- there are very big doors and tall ceilings, but also very small doors. I was really hoping to say that this freeware version is better than the payware version, but I fear I have gripes with both. Please, can you sort out the scale issues? Thank you.

    Hi thanks for the feedback. I know that this door in particular is too big and I will correct that. When it comes to the interior, I don't intend to spend much time on that. It just takes too much time.

    I see that it is enabled in my MSFS2020. So I guess it's working with it enabled.

    I have never been to this airport IRL but your scenery makes me want to go. I flew in to this airport tonight on-stream for the first time and it is one of the best freeware airports available. Very well done

    Did you download the v1.8 GSX profile? It is not "included" in the main file.

    No I didnt download it as the changelog said the updated profile is included in the 2.1.3 and the profile is dated feb 7th so I obviously thought the profile would be in the 2.1.3 version. In this case I already had the updated profile since feb 7..
