    Enahncement pack for Izmir (LTBJ) by MM Simulations - Image 1

    Beschreibung

    I'd like to share with the community the enhancement pack for payware scenery of Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport by MM Simulations. The team made fantastic scenery, but there are a few things that are missing from the scenery, therefore this enhancement pack will add the missing details. 

    NOTAM

    This enhancement pack does not change nor modify the original scenery in any way. It only adds a lot of stuff to make it even better.

    Elements added:

    - Hazard lights to wind socks and airport lights masts at the airport.Updated pax gates illumination from white to yellow.
    - illumination to military hangars across the airport as well as turkich flags at the entrance to military offices
    - Runway guard lights. ILS Antennas
    - Static Aircrafts, helicopters and military equipment to military area as well as distant parking spots at civilian site

    Most added objects come from MSFS SDK library, but there are few libraries you will have to have installed in order to see all elements:

    - All world updates
    - We Love VFR Region1 https://flightsim.to/file/2605/we-love-vfr-region-1

    - https://flightsim.to/file/2549/edhk-lights-pack

    - https://flightsim.to/file/14024/windy-things

    - Please download  aircraft from JPfillion and put them into your community folder.

    Unfortunately the scenery design does not allow me to add any parking spots to military area although I tried. If you're flyying military aircrafts, you'll have to spawn at any other gate of the airport and move the aircraft over by using slew mode.

    A PLEA

    - If you see a problem, if something's not working, DO LET ME KNOW either in comments section of via private message. I can't fix the problem if I don't know about its existence

    - Follow the file. It's not for me, but for you. If the file is corrupt for some reason, or causes CTD, IT WILL be updated. If you don't follow the file, you will miss the updates and might be stuck with either incomplete or corrupt version.

     

    For those, who use drag and drop - drop into community folder together with MM's Izmir airport

    For those who use Addon Linker - have enhancement pack file active as well as the airport files

    Each file uploaded to this website is screened for viruses. It's been reported before on different enhancements, I had this problem before when downloading files. Have a constructive discussion with your antivirus regarding what it reads as virus and what not.

    Unfortunately it doesn't work. I have dropped it into my community folder with the MM simulation LTBJ folder. Nothing.. Could you help me please?

    Yes, no problem.
    Let's trouble shoot:
    - Do you have all libraries listed in your community folder (active if you're using addon linker?)
    Make sure you have these installed, otherwise you will not see the enhancement working.

    Just my 2 cents that the Turkish Coast Guard doesn't use AB-212 in Izmir (that's where I live), they use AB-412 heli's. Also, you can add some C-235s to their base (Sahil Güvenlik).

    I realise, that the military apron and equipment there is most likely not as it should be. These are stock elements that I used. I placed them there so the ramp would not look deserted. If at any point there will be a library with, says, NATO equipment, with appropriate insignia, I will be thrilled, because most airports will have some military traffic, just don't want to use equipment with USAF insignia everywhere.

    I think you've got the wrong ICAO code in the header.....
    LTBA=Ataturk Intl. Istanbul, Turkey
