    Beschreibung

    This is just a simple flight model update to make it easier to fly. It reduces the amount of inertia the chopper has so you don't have to fight the kinetic energy as much. I also upgraded the engine to the 200HP version to help with rotor speed.

    Version 1.1

    Adjusted governed RPM so that it is in the middle of the green range instead of at the top end.

    Adjusted the vertical stab incidence so that the chopper flies a little straighter when at cruise speed instead of the tail being off to one side. (Adjusted for no wind. The wind will still cause it to fly slightly sideways)

    Installation is simple. Just extract the mod into the community folder. To remove, simply delete the mod folder.

    I'm having trouble setting it up for the Marketplace version. I downloaded it and everything, so I know it's not streaming, but I can't seem to figure out where the files go (same with the livery, for whatever reason I can't modify it either).

    You just need to unzip them into your Community Folder.

    Fantastic! A mega ton of thanks! Finally, gold medal to you for your two files, I can now fly this Nemeth Design S300 CBi correctly in MSFS 2024! Or rather, fly it at all! Which was totally impossible with the original files...

    Some people, like me, experience a trim bug with this helicopter. Apparently, if you rotate your joystick 45 degrees counter clockwise, you can control it. It's a bug. Also, try pulling the trim fuse. Nemeth Designs has released some updates, but none which address these major bugs.

    I can fly most other helis in my collection, but the 300 is totally uncontrollavbel, even though I am using the same controls setup as the other helis !

    Any suggestions would be most welcome !

    Amazing fix chunkyflyer!!! Thanks so much for dialing this thing in. I'm a real -world helo pilot with a two-place sim cockpit I designed around the Schweizer s300cbi. I've had to live with an unflyable add-on for way too long... now I can actually spend time tweaking the settings and have fun enjoying the s300!

    Is there a mod on the way that is compatible with MSFS2024? The Schweizer S300CBi fly badly in MSFS2024 as well.

    After Update 1.05 for the S300 i can already fly it now without that 45 degree spin of my Flightstick. And w ith your mod it makes it so much easier, so now i have a lot of fun with that Machine :)

    After this mod the helicopter is a little bit more stable, but it keeps pulling too much to the right going in circles to the right... it seems like too much right rudder.. is there a way to update the system.cfg to correct the right rudder problem?

    Not sure what you mean. Choppers always rotate either left or right due to the torque of the main rotor. Just add some left anti-torque (Rudder) and it will stabilze. I've just tested it and it sees fine to me. I have to put in some left anti-torque just like the other choppers.

    Let me know if I'm not understanding what you mean.

    can you fly foward in a straight line? the torque pulls too much to the right.. is hard to fly without applying a good amount of anti torque.. how can we lower this torque in the system.cfg?

    You have tamed the beast, but I like the beast! Honestly this is great to have, but I feel it's now a bit too easy to fly with this mod. Somewhere in-between would have been more desirable. ps. thank you for the s300 GTN650mod.
