IPDC Scenery Objects Library - Image 1

    Beschreibung

A collection of low-poly buildings, objects and whatever else ends up included, for use with my MSFS "IPDC" sceneries from ianpsdarkcorner.co.uk. As with the vehicles, we've completely lost count of the number in here now, as we keep adding new ones when they become necessary for airfields.

The models are primarily of Second World War standard drawing, or generic representations of, buildings found on airfields. The odd other thing may sneak in, but they're 99% Second World War structures, many of which can still be found in use today. There are also "scatter" objects for rearming and maintenance areas, gates and barriers, a couple of pillboxes and more, which will hopefully be added to as time goes on.

    Five libraries are included:

    • ipdc-library-met-equipment - a small number of objects and one simobject which would be used for monitoring and recording weather information
    • ipdc-library-signal-squares - UK standard signal squares for ground-to-air communication of information. Now 3d (used to be 2d textures)
    • ipdc-stiz-staticac - A small number of static RAF aircraft in generic liveries
    • ipdc-ww2-defences - A small collection of defensive structures, pillboxes, gun trenches, etc, for airfield defence. Now including stiz's 75mm airborne pack howitzer, because we didn't know where else to put it.
    • ipdc-ww2-dlw - A small collection of objects for WW2 German (Luftwaffe) forward/advance air base and landing ground objects.
    • ipdc-ww2-raf-buildings - The main library of structures, buildings and the occasional pit of water. Texture sizes have been decreased, due to size of install.
    • ipdc-ww2-scatter - "Stuff". Barrels, boxes, scatter objects, stiz's military tents, piles of coal and suchlike.

    PLEASE NOTE:

These libraries have been tested in, and confirmed to be working without major issues in, MSFS2024. They are, however, MSFS2020 libraries.

I haven't included advertising screenshots, because the objects are really only intended for use in our sceneries, These objects are available for use if anyone else wants to do so in their own sceneries, but if you choose to do so, please credit (blame?) me as the author of the library and don't create new libraries from them. It's hard enough to keep track of where I upload them when they get updated and/or added to!
